Memory lane! Enjoying focusing on ribbon creations this summer. Here's a ribbon from last summer's Freedom Dinner paired with pressed flowers from the garden. I love playing with Starfire Marigolds, they are fun to press and have great movement!

Last of the Sweet Peas! Look how short those stems are! Sweet Peas get pulled out this week. Don't worry! Plenty of flowers to still keep me busy!
The garden is pretty much in full bloom. August will be here tomorrow and that means I will have so many blooms I wont know what to do with myself. At the moment, the garden is manageable but by the the end of August I may be questioning my prior decisions to grow so much. 😸
Was able to wear .things to an amazing event last night. Thank you for your special touch and thought to each piece you make.
Strawberries are coming out to play. . Though, I really don't taste a difference between regular strawberries and hula berries.
Poor Man's Orchid skipped a year in tne garden last summer and I very much missed it's presence. You know whay that means! A whole row of this beauty and already blooming like crazy!
TBFriday? This cake is one of my favorites to date. A great example of using garden inspiration even in the kitchen!

From left to right....Sweet Peas and Scabiosa
Pressed Scabiosa Raspberry Kisses. I was able to find this Scabiosa plant . This beautiful flower id about to bloom in the garen and I can't wait!
This year I have added more Scabiosa of various colors. I love pressing them and the best part is that they are food safe. My guess is that my first Scabiosa to bloom will be Raspberry Kisses. 😘
My Sweet Peas are growing taller each day now and blooms are right around the corner, possibly next week!
This week's : Chocolate Cosmos, Dahlia, Yarrow, Black Knight Scabiosa, and Dwarf Papyrus....in their fresh and pressed stages.
