It's crazy to think it's already February! This year has already been wonderfully crazy and there are so many new people here that I thought I would take a chance to reintroduce myself.
My name is Danielle and I'm a professional marketer and entrepreneur. Danielle Wineman Creative is a Social Media Management and Brand Strategy firm that primarily works with individuals and small businesses to develop their unique brands, create content and strategy, and stay up to date on what is happening in this ever-changing world of social media. While I'm currently based in Montana I have clients in several different states and several different fields from politics, to real estate, to actors and artists, pageant contestants, and more.
My interest in social media and brand strategy was born during my year as Miss Montana. Our class of state titleholders were charge with the task of beginning many of the social media pages that are still used by the organization today. It gave a first hand look of how I can create authentic voice that highlights both the organization and myself as an individual.
As I continued through grad school, I found as much joy helping market shows as I did being on the stage. So it wasn't much a shock when I started working with actors to develop their branding, headshots, and strategy as they created small businesses for themselves. Happy 406 Day! I’m proud and thankful to be a Montanan and be able to explore one of the most naturally beautiful places on Earth. No matter how many times you visit a places, it’s like seeing it first time.

Having a great idea(s) is like wanting to go for a run. But rather than just running we're flooded with questions: Why am I running? Where am I running? What shoes do I wear? What's the temperature outside? Am I running out of the joy of it or do I have a specific race or goal? What if I don't reach my goal? and on and on... And by that point you've probably started wondering if you should ever think about running ever again.
Well I'm not a runner but that whole mental spiral is all too familiar. This often happens when we get a really great idea for a business, initiative, or personal brand. And before we've even started the questions come flooding in and so have all the reasons not do it. So how do we build our brand, answer our questions, create a strategy, and prepare for the twists and turns? There isn't a one path or fits all, It's going to be unique to you, and it's how I help my clients come up with personalized branding solutions, logos, websites, and social media content and strategy.

Happy International Women’s Day! I finished UNTAMED last month. I highly recommend it!! This quote has stuck with me from the moment I read it. I hope today (and everyday) is a reminder of the resilience and power that lies within us.

This is the biggest lesson I have learned in the process of starting my business. You will never be ready, you just have to start. Analysis paralysis is REAL. As a perfectionist I spent years waiting, worrying, and wanting to start but getting in my own way with, "it isn't the right time" or "who would want to work with me" or "why would someone hire me" or "I don't know how to run a business!"
If you are like me, here are three reminders that I have had to tell myself frequently:
1.) Learning as you go is better than not going. Ask questions and seek out help for the things you don't know. I guarantee there is someone who can help you with the missing pieces to the puzzle, and they are closer than you think. You just have to ask.
2.) "If you build it, they will come." It's true! Your idea (possibly business idea) came from having a passion or skill for something + witnessing a problem that needed solving. When I added Social Media Management to my business plan it was because I love creating content and building strategy, and found that was not something people/actors/small business owners (primarily those of us who remember what a dial tone is, because we never thought Social Media would be such a part of life) enjoyed doing. All my clients have been friends or friends of friends who saw what I had built and wanted the help. SO BUILD IT!
3.) The idea you've been ruminating on, it's for you not for them. So don't let them dictate how it goes, when it starts, what it becomes, or any plot twists you wanna throw in along the way.
Be kind to yourself and just start!

Exciting things for 2023! First of which is being my business up to speed with all the growth from 2022.
While I still offer Headshot, Engagement, Lifestyle, and Elopement/Micro Weddings photography, and editing services; I now also offer Social Media Management + Strategy. With the creative expansion of my business I needed to change my logo and title.
