Goodbye Q
So, I suppose that I can reveal that the eminant Kellii Scott of the great band Failure has laid drums down on 5 new songs for a 6 song EP which will be forthcoming. I listened to his work today and can say that he helped to elevate these songs to another level. I am so grateful for moments like this. It gives me hope to continue into the void.
I'll be doing some post-production to compete this album, and I will be exited to share it with everyone as soon as everything is ready. 🥁🎸🎤🙏

After recording this song in 2015 and wanting to do something epic with it, the song wound up not being released until 2020's "Prayer That Our Joy Be Restored', featuring a very stark version with updated lyrics that turned the song on its head and made it a tragedy. Due to this song's popularity among my friends, and the special energy in this demo that is somehow not replicable, I decided to enhance the demo and release it as a single track album. I hope that you enjoy it.

Being an artist can sometimes feel like you've fallen in love with someone who can't love you back. It is the unrequited love of being excited to share what you've created with a world that has little or no enthusiasm for what you've done. But at the end of the day, you can't help who you love and neither can anyone else. We live in a weird "feed me" time where the consumers grow restless for the next thing. Diving deep into an experience seems to be passé. It is okay. Warhol sort of walked this age down the aisle and his advice was to mind your own business as an artist and just keep creating.
