FELIZ DIA DE LA MAMA!!! Today is Mother's Day here in Mexico...and this year we were so blessed to be able to celebrate and love on some of the amazing moms in our community here in Pluma Hidalgo... all thanks to ANOTHER clothing boutique owned by my sister in law, Lauryn Winton, called Charli Rose & Co. She sent down over 150 brand new items (dresses, tops, jeans, bras and underwear) for me to be able to pass out to local moms for an early Mother's Day gift. If you're a mom, you know that when money is tight (or non existent), moms are usually the LAST ones to get something for themselves. Sooo, with these amazing donations from Lauryn, I organized an early Mother's Day brunch at my home and welcomed ladies from town to come for a little shopping spree. I honestly wish there was a better way for me to capture the joy and excitement the ladies all felt getting to "shop" for themselves, but these pictures will just have to do. My heart is so full and I cannot say a big enough THANK YOU to Sam and Lauryn for how you spoiled ladies here with these gifts! “Strong women don’t use their strength to knock others down, but to help others carry their burdens.”
