Dear ACM students, parents, and teachers, This Saturday individual lessons in the practice rooms will continue as normal, as well as the group piano class and the composition classes. The world music orchestra will meet but be in Multi-media room 3. The ukulele class will meet but in Multi-media room 4.
The pop-rock band, the guitar class, and the choirs will NOT meet. This is due to the Angeles Worship Lab using the classrooms in the school of music. There will be about 150 other people in the music building and Munsun chapel for AWL.
On a different "note" ,/) I'd like to invite you all to our APU Symphonic Band concert on Sunday at 2 pm in Munson Chapel (Free). Concerts and recitals of APU students and APU ensembles will be happening every week from now through the last week of April--ask your teachers about which concerts and recitals they are in, and try to attend if you can--they are all free and open to the public, and we'd love to have our ACM students and families attend.
Finally, note that on March 4 and March 11, it is up to individual teachers and classes whether they meet or not, so check with your teacher!!! (Teachers, please make sure to communicate in advance about whether you are meeting or not).

We have 2 choirs available in our program: SHINE and ACM Choir!

SHINE Choir is recommended for younger children ages 5-10. It’s a great place for beginners who are just starting out. It’s a great and fun place to develop basic musical concepts and learn musical skills in a group setting.

ACM Choir is for older students ages 11 and up. But don’t worry, younger students are able to audition to get into ACM Choir. Develop your musical concepts as well your musical skills in a group setting. ACM Choir also provides opportunity for the students to perform out in our community.

She was admitted to the Cascade Conducting program in Tacoma, but without a scholarship. Now, she is trying to fundraise $1700 on their campaign website for her own scholarship.
