Behind The name "Petit Poison" There is Sandra Pineau a French artist who specializes in oil paintings and Zeina kimaz a sales manager who worked in the fashion industry. Using new, vintage, recycled fabrics and adding applique. The idea started when Sandra pineau was storing and trashing her kid`s clothes that were too small, torn or stained. Some of the clothes and patterns were too beautiful an
d precious to be given away. She decided to cut the fabric and use them into different designs stitched on new fabrics. The clothes got so much praise and attention that friends started requesting to recycle some of their own clothes and have her make them a unique handcrafted one of a kind creation of art! The philosophy behind Petit poison is why not get involved in making a difference in the recycling process by combating the `throw away`mentality and help in the recycling process by turning the clothes into repurposed unique handmade clothing that will catch everyone`s eyes! And that`s how Petit poison came to life!
