Mexia Little Dribblers is offering one final chance to register!!!

•Final sign-up: Sunday (12/10/23) from 2:00pm to 3:00pm at the MLD gym.

- Registration will be closed and we will not take anyone else at that point.

‼️ If you have not paid your child’s registration fees by the time registration closes, your child will be removed from the roster ‼️

- We have not finalized the game schedule, please be patient with us.

•Practices are beginning this week as the Little Dribblers gym has been repaired and cleared for us to use (thank you to our MISD support).

Good morning MLD!!! We have been working to get all of the team info and contacts straight. Our coaches should be reaching out to everyone ASAP!

On behalf of Mexia Little Dribblers we would like to thank everyone that has signed his or her child up to play in our program . We are looking foward to having a great season this year . Due to the large number of kids in a few age groups we will not be able to add anymore kids this year . We had signups for 2 months and we had to cut it off . The only age groups we have still open is 11-12 and 13-14 year old girls so if anyone know any girls please contact one of our board members . Also parents please keep in mind that you have had 365 days to work with your child at home and these coaches that volunteer their time for FREE will only have 1 day a week for 1 hour to work with 7-8 kids on his or her team so please be mindful of that . It is hard to get coaches for all of these kids so trust me the ones we have will do the best they can working with these kids. One more thing to keep in mind for kids that are ages 4-6 that it should be all about the kids having fun , ages 7-8 should be about having fun and working on basic skills like dribbling and passing , ages 9-14 should be about having fun , working on basic skills and competing a little bit . All coaches will be contacting the players in the next few days but we have to wait on setting practice schedules due to the gyms . Thanks and we appreciate all the parent for letting your kids be apart of our program .

Mexia Little Dribblers weekend of fun!

We will add our 14U games to the schedule soon.

MLD is doing the last signups for 13-14(7-8 th grade ) boys and girls in the morning from 10AM- 12 AM . Keep in mind these are open signups so other towns that don’t have a league are welcome to play . Just go to the concession stand at the New JR high in Mexia and somebody will help you get signed up .

🚨🚨Important Update🚨🚨

Due to the potential for continued weather and travel issues as well as possible changes the weather may cause to the make-up games for the varsity basketball teams this Saturday, we will only run the games that are scheduled to be played at the Mexia Little Dribblers Gym (Old Gym). The games that were scheduled for the New Jr. High will be rescheduled to February 26th.
We would like to apologize for how disruptive this season has been and want to thank you coaches, parents, and players for being so patient and understanding.
