Cycling Parents - Love your family. Love your bike.
Cycling on a limited time budget. Because there are more important things in life. But cycling comes
killed me yesterday night
TOUR Transalp Day 4 - Bormio to Livigno. Very bad weather conditions. Some riders starting in short/short. I hope that everyone arrives safely.
Alex and I are abandoning the race.
Next stop: Ötztaler Radmarathon end August. Let's hope for better health and better weather.
Team 104 over and out 😥
TOUR Transalp Day 3. Long story short - Alex started the day with a stomach bug. No power in the climbs. We had to hitch a ride to get over the Stelvio. Big thanks to Fred from Switzerland 🇨🇭! You are our hero!
By the time we arrived, the bug got on me as well. 🐜🤢 - there also seem to be a bunch of other riders down at the moment.
Fingers crossed that we can all recover until tomorrow. The next stage is a killer in terms of distance and climbing. The forecast is rain and cold weather.
TOUR Transalp day 2 - had an amazing ride up the Timmelsjoch. Great vistas, good pace. All went well until Dorf Tirol where we ran into an accident that happened just a few minutes earlier. A fellow rider was injured and had to be airlifted to the hospital. Hope he will be well again soon!!
Alex and I waited 20 minutes in the scorching sun and then had to battle the intense heat. We had to take another 10 minutes for recovery on the final climb. Still, a very fun day in the saddle!
Make sure to check out the photos and videos!

TOUR Transalp Stage 2 is over. Imst to Naturns, 139km, 2600m climbing - awesome weather but a bit too warm in the end. Tons of super fit riders around!
Morning all! The mountains are calling, so let's go out and ride!
Day 1 of the TOUR Transalp is over. It was tough, with 4 hours of riding in heavy rain. Great views though and we made new friends along the way. Looking forward to tomorrow! Hello Timmelsjoch, you old hill of broken dreams.

Mountainbiking up to Lake Ledro. This area has become an outdoor playground! Amazing equipment for rent. KTM with Shimano XT. No complaints!
Back in the saddle!
Proven concept from the Ötztaler Radmarathon, right Ketterechts? Also, it helps to close the air vents in the shoes with duct tape. Oh, and - put surgical gloves on top of your winter gloves for added warmth and water resistance.
Wenn du keine Überschuhe hast, dann musst du dir zu helfen wissen.
Looking forward to the Schwalbe-TOUR-Transalp with The Girl With The Road Bike Tattoo. Shall we try to ride in our tandem team like this? :)
Looking forward to seeing the Tour de France in Düsseldorf 2017!
