I'm originally from Mendoza, Argentina Wine Country, where I have been related to wine tourism for many years, designing premium wine tours, wine tastings, and wine events, always in close contact with the wineries. Over there, I took part and witnessed the transformation of Mendoza into a world class tourism destination. After changing Mendoza's desert and mountains for Chile's cooler climate, the hills and the ocean I became fascinated with the cultural character of Valparaíso as well as with this country's high quality wines. Each event features five high quality wines that showcase the diversity of the Casablanca Valley's unique terroir. All of the wines have been carefully selected, whether being from a limited production, highly awarded, or for the winemaker's distinct philosophy. The tastings are hosted in English and take place at a beautiful location in the heart of Cerro Alegre, inside a boutique hotel which used to be an old mansion that has been completely restored, maintaining its historic character.
