I never really thought about selling apparel with our logo on it, but as it turns out, we’ve gotten quite a few requests for Chalk Girl clothing. Insane. (To me, anyway!)
You can now purchase t-shirts, long-sleeved shirts, hoodies, crewneck sweatshirts, zip-ups, and more through our Etsy store! We even have some child sizes!
Everything is printed on demand once you place your order which means that it will take slightly longer to receive your purchase, but it helps the world in many other ways. It significantly reduces overproduction and wasted materials on both producer and Chalk Girl ends. Trust us, though; it’s worth the wait!
All designs carry our social media information on the back with a handy-dandy QR code that links to our LinkTree so you can tell everyone who asks what The Chalk Girl is (and we get asked almost EVERY time we wear our merch in public) all about our journey. ♥️🧡💛

Once upon a time, The Chalk Girl met Brock and he asked if she’d be interested to speak to some of his classes. Turns out he’s an art teacher!
Thrilled with the idea, The Chalk Girl happily obliged and proceeded to almost give Brock a heart attack while teaching the class about the importance of going with the flow when we make mistakes. (Fun story for the auction!)
Brock is one cool art teacher. He allows his kids to create what they love and what they’re passionate about - something I never really had the opportunity to do while I was in school. To walk that walk, he leads by example with brilliantly colorful traditional and digital pieces.

Chalk Girl world, meet Brian C. Roll! These are his items that will be available for auction! 👉Swipe to see his amazing work!
The very first time Chalk Girl was at a convention, Brian was there as a celebrity artist.
We had nothing to sell, no idea how we were going to get canvases home, no clue what to expect, but there was Brian. A celebrity artist. He might object, but I will always think of him as such.
Mr. Chalk Girl was able to chat with Brian and explain that if he were to come over and say "Hi" while I was drawing, it would mean the world… and it did! Whether he wanted it to happen or not, Brian became a mentor that we were incredibly grateful to have.
Over the next year (and still to this day), we asked Brian for endless advice and he was always gracious to answer.
Now, *he’s* great, but his art is also amazing. Every piece has an insane level of detail. Layers upon layers upon layers of color, shading, and effects go into his work and it blows my mind away. I can’t wait to share more of his stuff!

Embarrassingly, I think I “met” Justine for the first time 4 or 5 times. Certainly, we meet hundreds of people at these cons and shake a lot of hands, but when the artist’s cosplay is so freaking good, it’ll throw you for a loop! 🤣
Despite my horrid memory, I can tell you without a doubt that Justine’s art is incredible. Have you ever tried to woodburn a design before? Because I have, and it’s not easy. Justine manages to capture a ridiculous amount of detail and style into her woodburned pieces. Not only that, but she also creates mesmerizingly colorful art that often gets printed on metal, making it pop out even more.

Jason and Tori Artman have been incredible collaborators with The Chalk Girl since 2020. Every time they create a new quilt, I’m so utterly impressed and each design inspires a new idea. The closer you look, the more incredible each quilt becomes. Sew Quiltable immediately joined our vendor family and we are forever grateful.

We met Adam and his lovely wife Amy at probably the snooziest snooze-fest con we’ve ever attended. Mr. Chalk Girl was taking his usual rounds while I was drawing and he came back to the booth excited to have met someone who had Marvel-approved sketch cards!
It didn’t take long to befriend the Fields because they’re freaking awesome people. Unfortunately, we don’t get to see them as much as we’d like, but every time we do, it’s an amazing time.
Adam is the owner of Midnight 27 Studios and has created his own comic book, Prowl. I’m always impressed by the detail of his sketch covers and his everlasting work ethic - the man is a machine!
I can’t wait to tell you more about him during the show!

👆This is why we’re starting all of the items in our auction at the artist’s asking price. Every piece you’ll see for sale on Wednesday took hours upon hours to complete and if you equate that to your regular shift… maybe your day… maybe even your week, you’ll realize most artists are severely low-balling their starting price. Not only did the piece itself take as long as it did, the hours of learning the craft, the price of materials, the mistakes, the mishaps, and everything in between costs money, time, or mental health.
It might sound uppity. It might sound inflexible. It might sound rude.
Artists deserve to be paid. Sorry, not sorry. 😁

✨Last week we were able to host our first Whatnot show! I worked on this sketch cover!✨
For those of you who may not yet be familiar with Whatnot, I explain it to all my friends as “instant ebay.” It’s an app/website where sellers can instantly auction off a variety of items to anyone watching. It provides a really fun community for those who may be interested in comics, trading cards, art, shoes, toys, and an insane plethora of other collectibles.
Although it’s intended purpose might not be to showcase the process of an artist’s work, that’s what several friends and I plan to use it for. You can see the item being made right in front of your eyes and purchase it as soon as it’s done - or in my case, at my Sketch Cover Palooza show on October 25th!
All sketch covers that I show from now until then will be available at auction that evening!
In the mean time, I’m having smaller shows leading up to the big sale where I can chat with followers, talk about my process, and even sell prints that will be in the mail the next day.

Back when I thought completing one chalk drawing a week during the middle of a depressing pandemic would be fun, let alone possible… Vision felt like a good choice.
Despite everything that went down that year with Chalk Girl, I’m glad I started it because Paul Bettany is going to be at Cincinnati Comic Con this month! I fell in love with his acting in “A Knight’s Tale” and have followed his journey ever since.
🤞Fingers crossed that I’ll be able to finish it in time along with another picture that I’ve been asked about since 2020.
If you have seen my Scarlet Witch picture, you might notice that his positioning mirrors hers. Stay tuned to see how it turns out!
Sidewalk chalk. That’s it.
Me: “It sounds kind of scary.”
Husband: “It probably wouldn’t be worth it if it wasn’t.”
That is how this all started. It was those words that convinced me to quit two jobs and focus on a dream. We had just come home from the complete leap of faith that was our first convention and we sat down to talk about the experience. It had been a whirlwind of a weekend figuring out the life of a vendor, meeting celebrities, and pondering questions we weren’t quite sure how to answer. Despite all that, we knew we wanted more.
A month later, The Chalk Girl LLC was an official business and we began making prints of my drawings to sell at other conventions. Since then, we’ve met incredible artists from all over the United States as we’ve traveled to con after con in hopes of selling more art and solidifying this career I’ve chosen.
