This supernatural love only comes from the empowerment of the Holy Spirit that helps us break down our sinful hearts and fill us with God’s love. He is the one who can enable us to love our enemies!

Motherhood is hard work. Cleaning up after toddlers, changing diapers, providing comfort, teaching children about the Lord, providing discipline - and this barely scratches the surface of the hours mothers put in each and every day.

But it is valuable work! Everyday YOU are raising a generation of children to follow God, love others, and pursue holiness.

Absolutely wonderful time with Pastor Marenrri Duboy preaching through translation and enjoying the Hispanic church fellowship in Appleton. What a capable and gifted leader. It was Cinco de Mayo celebration AND mother's day for them as well.

We left the REFRESH Retreat feeling filled to the brim with encouragement, community, and the reminder that God’s rest is for us.

God is loving, merciful, kind, and compassionate.

AND, He is also holy.

Just as we should demonstrate this same love, mercy, kindness, and compassion to others, we should be holy, just as God is holy.

Yet, we struggle to be holy. We are sinners, and often fall short of this holy standard. Good thing we have a forgiving God who loves us, and knowing our inabilities, gave us His Son to save us from our sins!

Let us strive for holiness today by relying on the Holy Spirit’s strength, praising God that even when we fall short, He forgives us!
