Nice to be back out competing after a short break Cilla Gray Gray Horseboxes Limited enjoyed her little outing as did the mighty Garf, who was back to normal if a little bit strong and keen to be out competing after a few weeks of hacking π€£
Despite the rain βοΈπ¦ We managed a couple of 1st places π₯ with Garf a little more settled in the 2nd test scoring 67.79% to win the Prix St George and 66.35% in Advanced Medium 92 π₯

Garf may not have been feeling it or been at his best for the area festival, but somehow he has managed to gain a wild card for the inter 1 bronze class at the championships π€£ on the same day I got a little mention in the BD magazine for upgrading to a list 3 judge π
Day trip to Sparsholt Equine Centre for an inter 1 test at the pet plan festival. Not sure Garf was feeling it today, lots of silly mistakes and he didnβt feel his usual self π’ I will give him a few weeks off and then see how he feels π On the upside he enjoyed his lap of honour for 3rd πππ and travelled perfectly there and back maybe we packed the wrong pony π€π π€£ Now Iβm looking forward to returning to judge a big classs on Sunday Gray Horseboxes Limited
Freddie Forest enjoyed a short cruise to North Island for his first offshore competition π€π€£ Not sure he was overly impressed with the early start and ferry crossing before competing although he did enjoy the food selection π
Despite being a little unsure of the white boards and the Huge warmbloods warming up alongside him he did 2 ok ish tests scoring 64.66% for 2nd in his section overall 7th in Novice 22 and was more settled in his 2nd test scoring 67.59% for 7th in his section overall 14th in Novice 37 Although he definitely won the smallest horse award alongside the big moving warmbloods getting final prep runs in before the regionals π€£
Really enjoyed the distraction that was Sparsholt Equine Centre celebration of dressage festival. After a traumatic week, losing Digory my beloved spaniel, I then lost Kluedo my absolute π world @ 28 yrs young and seriously considered whether I should still go. Garf my little superβοΈ as ever tried his hardest and after 2 section wins and an overall 5th and 3rd in yesterdays prix St George and intermediate I.
Today he went out and won the intermediate I overall with 66.02% including mistakes π and a section win and overall 2nd in the Prix St George with 66.32% absolutely over the moon with the little man. The event is fantastic and so well run, I may take Freddie to the October one π€£ The island as ever did itself proud with lots of rosettes, and good percentages ππ
Really pleased to receive this email from British Dressage today π I have successfully upgraded to a list 3 Judge.
Big thanks to Warren Warren for giving up her time to do the software training and the practice tests with me prior to writing for me for my final examination, and keeping me calm when the techno gremlins tried to scupper our attempts to log on π€π€£
