At Vision Farms we believe in raising our cattle as God intended. We do not give hormones, steroids or antibiotics. We do our best to make sure they have the right amount of minerals and lots of love. Our cattle are not only grass fed, all cows eat grass, but they are also grass finished meaning they are are not fattened up with grain and fillers before processing. We believe feeding our cattle real food because you eat what you ate ate!
We take our cows to a USDA certified processing plant, Thompsons Meat processing, which allows you to order individual cuts or special order a ยผ, ยฝ or whole cow. We also have special prices on bulk order boxes. We keep some individual cuts in our freezer and you can make an appointment to come by and pick up but you have to order 1/4, 1/2 & whole in advance ๐ฎ
Over the years, our region has experienced its share of natural disasters. As you read this, our neighbors in the Texas Panhandle are experiencing the most devastating wildfire in the state's rich history. More than 1.2 million acres have scorched, leaving entire farms, herds, homes, businesses and communities in ashes.
The Alabama Cattlemen's Association has a long history of offering relief to cattle producers who have experienced catastrophe. Cattlemen helping cattlemen is a story known all too well by Alabama beef producers who have been on the receiving end of generous donations during times of devastation in our home state. That is why the Alabama Cattlemen's Association has opened a Texas Panhandle Wildfire Relief Fund through the Alabama Cattlemen's Foundation to raise money that will be sent to the Texas Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association Relief Effort to purchase much-needed fencing materials once the fires are contained.
