Buna Cougar Fishing Team Sponsorship

The Buna Cougar Fishing Team is composed of both Junior high and high school student anglers who are associated with the Southeast Texas High School Fishing Association. Our team fishes against dozens of other teams in our region. The Buna High School fishing team is one of the most successful teams on and off the water. We have teams qualify and compete at the National level each year. We have been on the cover of BASS Times magazine and the FLW website. We would like the opportunity to display and represent your company with the BHS Fishing team.
We are a 501 (c) (3) organization, and your sponsorship to us is tax deductible. Sponsorships are a one-time donation for the year. We have several different sponsorship levels available.

We must have your sponsorship payment and logo no later than Friday, November 15th in order to get you on our jerseys.

2024-2025 Buna Fishing Team Sponsorship levels

Platinum Sponsor- $2000.00 and up commitment- Largest and most visible company logo on the jersey, hoodie and team banner. Company will be recognized on the BHS Team FB page. Company will receive a commemorative team jersey. Location of the logo will be in the front or rear center of the team jersey.

Gold Sponsor- $1000.00 -1999.00 commitment- Large size company logo on the jersey, hoodie and team banner. Company will receive a commemorative team jersey. Company will be recognized on the BHS Team FB page.

Silver Sponsor- $500 -$999.00 commitment- Medium size company logo on jersey, hoodie and team banner. Company will be recognized on the BHS Team FB page.

Bronze Sponsor- $250-$499.00 commitment- Smaller size company logo on jersey, hoodie, and team banner. Company will be recognized on the BHS Team FB page.

If you want to pay for jersey apparel, you are welcome to pay for it as well. Remember, no late paperwork will be accepted!

This will be a turn in your completed student angler and captains packet paperwork plus pay the $100.00 fee per student angler meeting. All checks need to be made out to BISD. The next BHS fishing team club meeting is Tuesday, October 1st at 6:00 PM. All student angler and captain paperwork needs to he turned in COMPLETED. At this time your $100.00 dues will also need to be turned in as well.

Fishing Team Meeting: anyone who is interested in the Buna Fishing Team, we will hold our 1st team meeting on Sunday evening September 8th at 6:00 PM in the HS Cafeteria. I will hand out and go over all the paperwork necessary for team membership.

At this point on prefishing for tomorrow......... we need to be very smart. I am not sure how the weather is going to be again tomorrow. I am waiting to hear from a meterologist friend to give me some guidance. I will post again later when i get the forecast.

On Friday........ those of you are who pre fishing, if you have a little time to help set up the stage, tanks, etc. It will help speed up registration, picking up boat cards etc. We will start around 2:00 PM on Friday at Umphrey Pavilion!!!! Thanks for any and all help! It is much appreciated.

TOTAL 20.00 I need to hear from you all by Noon tomorrow or I assume you are not paying and therefore will not be fishing or paying the 3 lb pot money. Some of you I have heard from already!

I will wait around another 20 mintes for anyone else who needs to pay tourney fees or 3 pound pots!

DO NOT FORGET.......drive thru payment for championship tournament. Only need to come to pay 3 lb pot and any teams who did not pay all year long for tournaments. Thursday evening 6 to 7 at ag dept.

This Thursday evening there will be a Drive thru and pay, for any student anglers who did not pay all year long and the 3 pound pot. There is so much going on this week at the school. So, this made the most common sense for me! I will be set up in my ag shop from 6 -7 PM.
