There is not enough research about women's health--especially about women with disabilities!
We are doing this study to understand the day-to-day challenges of women with disabilities in getting women’s healthcare. We need a better way to learn how to provide the best care and meet the needs of reproductive-aged women with disability.
If you are an 18-40 year old woman with a physical, developmental, or cognitive disability, you may be eligible for our survey. Click the link below to go to the study page or email [email protected] for more information.

About the URAD team-
Lauren Clark is a nurse and a mother. Both of her adult children have disabilities and many abilities, as well. Reproductive health is something we talk about at home, and a topic I study in my research, too. The personal and professional merge for me.
Sara Simonsen is a nurse, midwife, and advocate for women’s health. She has studied pregnancy outcomes and women’s reproductive health for over a decade. Sara is committed to helping women from all walks of life receive effective, respectful care that helps them meet their own reproductive goals, whether those goals are to become a parent or to prevent pregnancy
Susan Dearden, a graduate student working towards a Master in Public Health, is the research assistant on this project. She has a passion for women’s health issues and likes working to help make women’s lives better.
