【哈芝节】

哈芝节，又称古尔邦节，是全球穆斯林纪念先知Abraham愿意献祭自己的儿子以示对真主（Allah）忠诚的重大节日。哈芝节不仅是一个纪念日，更是穆斯林们表达信仰、奉献和团结的好时机。🧘

哈芝节期间，穆斯林会宰杀牲口，并将其肉分成三份，一份留给家庭自己，一份分给亲友，另一份捐赠给贫困人们，以表达对他人的关爱和慈善精神💞。

当天，穆斯林会在清晨前往清真寺，参加集体祷告（Salat），祈求真主的恩典和祝福🤲。他们也会穿上新衣服、拜访亲朋戚友、享用丰盛的肉类大餐。

在这个特别的日子里，祝愿所有穆斯林朋友们哈芝节（Eid al-Adha）快乐！

【Eid Al Adha】

Eid Al Adha, also known as Corban Festival, is a major festival for Muslims around the world to commemorate the Prophet Abraham's willingness to sacrifice his son to show loyalty to Allah. Eid Al Adha is not only a day of remembrance, but also a good time for Muslims to express their faith, devotion and unity. 🧘

During the Eid Al Adha, Muslims will slaughter animals and divide the meat into three parts. One part is kept for the family, one part is distributed to relatives and friends, and the other part is donated to the poor to express their care and charity for others💞.

On that day, Muslims will go to the mosque early in the morning to participate in collective prayers (Salat) to pray for God’s grace and blessings🤲. They also wear new clothes, visit friends and relatives, and enjoy sumptuous meat feasts.

On this special day, PBT Cultural Club wish all Muslim friends a happy Eid al-Adha !

［端午节］

端午节，又称端阳节或龙舟节，是中国传统节日之一，坐落在每年农历五月初五。在端午节这天，人们通过吃粽子、赛龙舟、挂艾草和菖蒲、喝雄黄酒等习俗来庆祝这一节日。🥳

端午节的起源与纪念爱国诗人屈原有关，相传屈原在这一天投江自尽，百姓为了不让鱼虾损害他的身体，纷纷投粽子于江中并划龙舟驱赶水兽。🌊

理华文化坊在这里祝大家端午节快乐!希望大家都可以吃到香喷喷的粽子噢!😋

[Dragon boat festival]
The Dragon Boat Festival, also known as Duanwu Festival or Double Fifth Festival, is a traditional Chinese holiday that falls on the fifth day of the fifth lunar month each year. On this day, people celebrate by eating zongzi (rice dumplings), racing dragon boats, hanging mugwort and calamus, and drinking realgar wine.🥳

The origins of the Dragon Boat Festival are linked to the commemoration of the patriotic poet Qu Yuan. According to legend, Qu Yuan drowned himself on this day. To prevent fish and shrimp from harming his body, the local people threw zongzi into the river and rowed dragon boats to scare away the water creatures.🌊

【达雅节】

达雅节是达雅族群（即伊班族和比达友）一年一度庆祝丰收并祈祷平安幸福的节日🌾。

达雅丰收节庆祝活动期间常见活动有选美比赛、饮酒祝寿 (Ngirup Ai Pengayu) 以及传统舞蹈表演💃。

庆祝活动通常在 5 月 31 日 (或丰收节前一天) 晚上以驱除贪婪之灵仪式 (Muai Antu Rua) 开始，象征赶走厄运之灵。

午夜时分，锣声响起，族长 (Tuai Rumah) 会带领长屋里的每个人用特别的米酒 (Ai Pengayu) 干杯，并互相祝愿。

理华文化坊在此祝达雅族丰收节快乐！Gayu Guru, Gerai Nyamai！🤩

[Gawai Dayak]

The Gawai Dayak is an annual festival for the Dayak ethnic group (i.e. Iban and Bidayuh) to celebrate the harvest and pray for peace and happiness🌾.

Common activities during Dayak Harvest Festival celebrations include beauty contests, drinking celebrations (Ngirup Ai Pengayu) and traditional dance performances💃.

Celebrations usually begin on the evening of May 31 (or the day before the Harvest Festival) with the Muai Antu Rua, a ceremony to drive away the spirits of bad luck.

At midnight, the gong sounds and the chief (Tuai Rumah) leads everyone in the longhouse to toast with special rice wine (Ai Pengayu) and wish each other well.

【丰收节】

丰收节是庆祝农作物收获的节日。丰收节通常是指农历秋分前后举行的“农民丰收节”，这是一个专门为广大农民设立的节日，旨在庆祝一年辛勤劳动的成果，感恩大自然的馈赠。🌈

丰收节的起源可以追溯到古代农耕社会。古时，人们依赖农作物为生，因此每年的收获季节尤为重要。为了表达对天地和祖先的敬意，古代人会在丰收之际举行各种祭祀活动，祈求来年风调雨顺、五谷丰登。🌾

[Vesak Day]

Vesak Day, also known as Buddha Day, is one of the most important holidays for Buddhists worldwide. This day commemorates the birth of Gautama Buddha and celebrates his enlightenment and nirvana. According to Buddhist tradition, these three significant events in Buddha's life all occurred on the full moon day of the Indian lunar month of Vesak. Therefore, the 15th day of the fourth lunar month is designated as Vesak Day each year. 💫

Vesak Day is a major holiday for Buddhists and an important time to practice compassion and wisdom. ✨On this day, Buddhists commemorate and celebrate this significant holiday through various activities such as offering Buddha statues, reciting sutras, releasing animals, and giving alms, embodying the spirit of Buddhist compassion. 🔥

[International Workers' Day]

International Workers' Day, also known as Labour Day, is an important holiday observed on May 1st each year. On this day, laborers and the working class worldwide take a break to celebrate the contributions of workers and the achievements of the labor movement. It's a moment to honor workers and advocate for labor rights and welfare. ✨

The origins of Labour Day can be traced back to the late 19th century when workers organized to fight for better working conditions and fair treatment. The Haymarket affair of 1886 in Chicago was a significant event in the labor movement, involving massive protests calling for the implementation of an eight-hour workday. This event paved the way for the creation of Labour Day to commemorate the struggles and achievements of the working class.💪

[Eid Mubarak]

Eid Mubarak, also known as Eid ul-Fitr is an important festival in Islam that marks the end of Ramadan, the month of fasting for Muslims. This festival is usually celebrated on the first day of Shawwal, the tenth month of the Islamic lunar calendar, following a month of fasting, prayer, and reflection by Muslims worldwide.🔥

The month of Ramadan (or "Saum" in Arabic), the ninth month of the Islamic calendar, holds deep spiritual significance for Muslims. During this sacred month, Muslims fast from dawn to sunset, refraining from food, drink, and other physical needs as a demonstration of self-control and devotion to Allah. Fasting during Ramadan is one of the Five Pillars of Islam, highlighting its importance in the faith. 🌈

【清明节】

清明节又称踏青节和祭祖节等，是祭祀、祭祖和扫墓的节日，并落在每年的4月5日左右。该节日对华人来说非常重要。人们会在那段时间到坟场的祖先墓前扫墓，为他们已故的亲人祈祷，并献上各种祭品。🍚

他们相信透过在墓地焚烧一件清明祭品，已故亲人能够在另一个世界得到并利用这些东西。很多人会燃烧香棒、透过香纸制成的金条或纸钱、衣服👔、食品🍊和各种纸制工艺品。祭拜祖先时则以辈分之分，分先后次序。依次为父亲、母亲、长男、长女、次男、次女以此类推👥。拜祭完毕后，祭品让祖先祝福过，众人便可食取祭品。

而对于下葬不足三年的逝者，通常只是在正月里去祭拜，到清明节去祭拜的逝者一般下葬都已超过三年。

[Qingming Festival]

Qingming Festival, also known as Outing Festival and Ancestor Worship Festival, is a festival for offering sacrifices to ancestors and sweeping tombs, and falls around April 5 every year. This festival is very important to the Chinese people. During that time, people would visit the tombs of their ancestors in the cemetery, pray for their deceased relatives, and offer various sacrifices. 🍚

They believe that by burning a Qingming offering at the cemetery, deceased relatives can obtain and use these things in the other world. Many people burn incense sticks, gold bars or paper money made from incense paper, clothes👔, food🍊 and various paper crafts. When worshiping ancestors, they are divided into seniority and in order. The order is father, mother, eldest son, eldest daughter, second son, second daughter and so on👥. After the worship is completed, the sacrifices are blessed by the ancestors, and everyone can eat the sacrifices.

For those who have been buried less than three years ago, they usually only go to worship in the first month of the year, while those who go to worship during the Qingming Festival are generally buried for more than three years.
