This weekend SSAGO enjoyed a fantastic weekend Oktoberfest Rally 2023, one of our three national rally’s a year. Thank you so much to the committee for all you hard work in organising a fabulous event - you did a superb job. See you at the next event.

SSAGO is for anyone who likes the outdoors, adventure, has been a Scout or Guide, or just wants to try something completely new.

SSAGO operates at a National level with clubs at nearly 40 different Unis across the Uk. Each year these clubs meet at National Camps and balls as well as regional events.

SSAGO - The Student Scout and Guide Organisation The Student Scout and Guide Organisation (SSAGO) is a non-uniformed organisation that enables you to continue or begin your Scouting or Guiding journey whilst at College or University.

SSAGO members working as IST for the World Scout Jamboree have come together on incredibly short notice to create and run an amazing collection of activities for the units, following the UK Contingent's return to Seoul!

With the invaluable help and support of SAGGA - The Scout And Guide Graduate Association we've already had loads of positive feedback from the over 300 young people that enjoyed our activity on day 1 of 4.

It's been a chaotic few days getting everything ready to go, but seeing the results makes it well worth it!

Our national ball is a fantastic excuse for ssagoers to get dressed up and have a party to celebrate the year. Next years national ball will be held by on the 26th April 2024.

Now that lincolnmedieball is upon us, it's time to hand over the reins to the new SSAGO Exec. We've had an absolutely incredible year, and we'd like to thank you all for the fantastic support we've received throughout! 😊

From exciting in-person events, including three Rallies, one Ball, SSAGO Amalgam 2022, Gilwell Reunion and our own Team Pink Weekend, to lots of (not so exciting) meetings with Team Pink and national event committees, it's been both a busy yet wonderfully rewarding experience. ⛺

We're really excited to see what our successors James, Jack, Gee and Bea (as well as SSAGO's soon-to-be Treasurer) have in store, and we're sure SSAGO will continue to go from strength to strength over the coming year! 💪

One of the most exciting aspects of lincolnmedieball is its truly beautiful venue, The County Assembly Rooms Lincoln! The Assembly Rooms were opened to the public 278 years ago, catering only for the gentry and county magnates of the time. Everyone is welcome nowadays though, including Scouts and Guides from across the UK of course! 🇬🇧

If you come along to MedieBall, you'll be able to take in the venue's rich history while celebrating with lots of other SSAGO members. Furthermore, unlike Rallies, we only host one Ball per year, and they're always fantastic events with a friendly atmosphere, tasty food and catchy SSAGO tunes! Sounds awesome, right? Happy Mother's Day from the Student Scout and Guide Organisation! Each year on the 19th of March, we celebrate the incredible influence of motherhood on both an individual and a societal level. Mother's Day is a time for immense gratitude, respect and love, and we'd like to extend our utmost appreciation to all mothers out there today. ❤️

Happy St Patrick's Day from National SSAGO! Today is an opportunity for people around the world to dress in green, wear shamrocks and enjoy Irish singing and dancing to celebrate Ireland and Irish culture. We hope that you all have an exceptional day! ☘️🇮🇪

What an incredible weekend! It was an absolute pleasure to host CentenaRally 2023 at Tawd Vale Adventure Centre over the weekend, and we'd like to extend our utmost gratitude to the CentenaRally Committee for all of their hard work. 💯

Containing a wide variety of morning and afternoon activities, an excellent ceilidh with University of Liverpool Big Band and some really tasty food (including lots of cake, of course), CentenaRally definitely lived up to the hype! 🤩

Our next SSAGO Rally will be ReBuild-a-Rally 2023 on the 23rd of June. We can't wait to see you there! 👷‍♂️
