Not something I run into nowadays, and much less so than I remember from years ago . . . But, Brad Rietveld, owner of Great Lakes Flatwork has it...in spades.

We contracted with Brad at GLF to do our driveway a couple years ago. While it looked perfect initially, it developed some problems we were not happy with. Even though it was not his responsibility or his fault, Brad stood behind his craftsmanship and worked with us to take care of the problem. I am convinced the vast majority of concrete contractors would just say, "Tough luck.” Not Brad.

I can't say enough about this man or his company. When we elected to replace the rest of our long asphalt driveway with concrete, I didn't bother getting estimates from others. Our entire driveway looks perfect and has certainly added value to our home. I will never work with another contractor as long as Great Lakes Flatwork remains available. Simply amazing!"

This was our most recent custom homeowner job. The concrete had dark coal color added to it, and a drain installed for the rain and snowmelt run off. The final pictures were hard to capture because of the expansive area (over 3,000 sq ft of concrete!).

I know we haven't posted in a while, but we're still busy working. Here's a couple pics of our most recent project.

Another stamped concrete job done in Pennsylvania Ave Running Brick

This beautiful backyard was a recent worksite for us. The customer was looking for a new exposed aggregate patio for gathering with family and friends.

We just completed this driveway, designed by the homeowners who were looking for lots of curves. Thanks, Millers, for trusting us with this project.

We just finished this sweet looking patio in a colored and stamped finish. The pattern is called Gilpin's Falls Bridge Plank. The color is Acorn Dark.
