It’s not just Karate it’s a way of life and our Karate Family, our achievements together keep us striving to be the best and work the hardest we can.

🥋Today concluded the end of year Kyu gradings across the KSKC association. During the past 6 weeks over 400 Junior Kyu grade pupils from 14 dojos have shown the respective Grading Panel their progression and commitment to our beautiful Art 🥋
We are proud of each of them.
We also wish to acknowledge all those waiting to grade to 1st grade Dan and who are patiently training month after month for their time to grade.
Not forgetting the groups Dan grades, those pupils both Juniors and adults who continue their karate journeys with us.
The KSKC reflect on a year with many happy memorable experiences for the group. We also bow our heads to remember those who gave so much and we have lost.

We look forward to 2024 with positivity and continued passion.
Thank you and Merry Christmas to all our the KSKC pupils, parents, team of instructors & supporters.

Sheets will be issued from this week to those ready.
Here is one of my personal Kyu grading sheets from when I obtained my Red belt back in 1991 😬. You will notice Sensei Wright’s handwriting on it also.

We are extremely proud of all our pupils and their commitment. Gradings are steps to support pupils individual karate journeys and children deserve the opportunity to shine and be commended for their hard work. It’s not about being the best it’s about being better than you were yesterday ⛩️

⛩️**Spotlight on Hempstead Dojo**
Hempstead is the sister club to Lordswood and was the second club of the KSKC group to open in the 1980s. Hempstead is lucky to have a strong group of committed Sensei made up of Cheif Instructor Glen Wright with huge support from Sensei Bowles, Sensei Phillips & Sensei Bennett. 👊
The Dojo is also the grading base to 75% of the KSKC clubs and is well attended by many of the groups instructors for their own weekly training. 🥋

A great week of all round ‘Fun’ at the Dojo this week for the junior pupils following much hard work and dedication towards the recent Kyu grading. 👏🏻
