The sweet sensation of reserved violence. It's something I can almost touch and taste.
•
Most men fantasize about cars, women or money. I fantasize about the sweet act of violence.

I am blessed to be me and I am accepting of who I am and how I think.

The man in the arena may be judged, criticized and compared but he will never truly be understood by those very people who choose to do so.
Enjoy the process of what you do. If you get what you want at the end of it all...great!!! But if you don't? At least you could say you lived your life without a care in the world of what others thought.

No matter of the outcome I'm always grateful for the opportunity to showcase the best version of myself.
I'm grateful for the opportunities I've been blessed with.
I'm grateful for this gift of youth. When I'm sore and physically hurting, I thank life for the opportunity to be able to work to that point of fatigue. I know when I'm old and frail I'll miss the early morning workouts, the late night one on one's and the grueling back to back rounds.
There's a beauty to knowing you have a long road ahead. There is a beauty to the unknown, it's simply a matter of structuring your way of thought to seeing it as so.
The future is not a deep dark mystery that lies in the shadows of the unknown but more so a vast plane of unopened doors that will lead to your fruition. The beauty of it is that we get to pick what doors we open, which paths we seek to take.

Here's what working with kids had taught me!!!!!
1.) My level of patience sucks. It's always being tested, whether kids are knowingly goofing off and not paying attention or whether they simply are having a hard time executing something new that they were just taught, its a struggle to be patient in the moment. To be in the presence of the problem and react reasonably is a talent in itself.
2.) Judge through objectivity and reason not through your emotions. Children can feel our energy. They know when we're agitated, upset, disappointed, and proud. They instinctively know when you've lost your cool and it freightens them. Fear is not a good teacher for a child.
3.) Lastly and most importantly!!!
Don't lose Hope!
At the age of 26 it seems as if my fate has been solidified. The plurapotentiality of a child is much greater than that of my own. ( Thats a fancy way of saying future capabilities/possibilities for an individual ). But simply being around these young ones reminds me to never let the flame die. I am a result of my habits, my habits being a result of my way of thought. If I am in control of that, then I am in control of my destiny.
Thank you the the amazing kids/students at for teaching me this lesson.

To turn judgment into appreciation is one of the hardest things we can do. It's something I am focused on changing about myself.
Thank you to all who have crossed my path. Friend or not all are integral to the journey we walk. For they walk there own path and we are but a part of theirs.

One of the kids at the school motivated me to get back toy artwork.
Gotta show these youngins what they are capable of.
Kids only like 7 and draws pretty darn well. I can see him doing such better than me in a year or two.

Stay relentless.
You may not be the smartest, the fastest, the strongest or the most talented.
But those who rely off of the above characteristics. They are the ones that fear the hard workers, they fear the ones that push through the pain and grit their teeth asking for more.
All that talent, intelligence, speed and strength goes flying out the door when they even sense your presence.
When they see your excitement growing the deeper you dive, the smirk on your face the darker it gets. That's when it's all worth it. That's when we shine the brightest.

This is incredible. In the last five years we went from having a handful of fighters on our team. To what you now see in the second image.
I'm incredibly blessed to be part of the first members of our currently existing team.
A beautiful reminder of the many gifts life grants us with the passing of time.

"No one can see their reflection in running water. It is only in still water that we can see" 🏊♂️
To those who aren't familiar with the fight game. It's not always as gruesome, violent and hate filled as you may think.
I've told people before that the relationship I've built with an opponent who I've shared 9 minutes of being in the cage with, is equivalent to that of the relationship I've built with someone I have known for 9 months.
The way we win in combative sports, whether we're talking about MMA, boxing or Jiu Jitsu is to hurt the other person into submission or to hurt them more than they hurt you. That's the way you win!!!
But my PRIORITY is not to intentionally hurt. My intention is to win by any means necessary. Their is no emotional attachment to my opponent. The best of the best step into the cage with an objective and clear mindset. 🌊

PMU Live was amazing. Shoutout to for putting on a spectacular event.
Over a thousand people attended the event at the Hard Rock hotel and casino in Hollywood FL.
Huge shoutout to my homie for being able to coordinate and direct this event. A true genius in his own right 🧠.
Remember when Alan Watts said that thing about being wise and spiritual? yeah copy and paste that.

Sometimes it's okay to lose focus. You realize you need to see outside of the realm in which you consistently reside.
You have to be aware that there is more to this world than your dreams and aspirations.
But deep on the inside you will always have your eyes on what you consider to be success.

Grateful for the mentors and guidance I have in my life. My "sifu" or Kung fu master John Wai has taught me more than martial arts. He's guided me in the realms of business, managing relationships and so much more.

Do you guys have a mentor? Who is forcing you to grow and take action in your life?
