✨ BUSINESS UPDATE ✨

Hello everyone! It’s been a while. Life has continued to throw curveballs but I’m hoping to be licensed soon!

I’m still waiting to become a trade partner with the Canadian government so I can submit my products for licensing. I’ve finally heard back and I think we’re in the final stages!

I’m in need of a new suet supplier, so please comment or DM any recommendations for reputable butchers or beef farmers.

I’m hoping to have products coming out soon! I’m so sorry, but I promise you it will be worth the wait.

I will do better at keeping you all update and I look forward to bring you great products (hopefully) very soon!

I’m searching for a local beef farmer or butcher that can supply my small business with beef suet that is antibiotic and hormone free!

I want to ensure a professional relationship with my suppliers to ensure I can keep making wonderful products!

✨Launch Update!!✨

Firstly, I wanted to apologize that launch still has not happened. A couple reasons for the delay:

- the natural health product system the government has set up is SO CONFUSING at first. I thought my applications were submitted but they weren’t, so I’m still awaiting approval to sell my products. My bad! I’m not always a great tech person 🤪
- life kicked into full gear for me the past couple of months. BUT I’m back at it and so excited to bring you all some amazing products.

Happy Thursday! Friendly reminder to take care of yourself - the seasonal depression is almost done! I know we’re already a week into March, but it’s never too late to start self-care.

Lately I feel like I’m not in control of my own life, because there’s so much happening that is outside of my control. It’s stressful, and it sucks, so I’m doing my best to do at least one thing a day for ME.

Simple Ingredients for ultimate skin health. All of my ingredients are certified organic, are ecologically harvested, and ensure workers receive fair wages. I also purchase from small Canadian businesses!

Deeply hydrating and healing body butter made with simple ingredients and a rich, natural chocolatey scent 😌

Shea butter
Cocoa butter
Almond oil
Coconut oil

The oils were infused with:
- Lavender: antimicrobial, soothing
- chamomile: anti-inflammatory, soothing
- calendula: anti-inflammatory, soothing, reduces redness, promotes healing

Infused Oils vs. Essential Oils

An oil infusion is when a carrier oil (i.e., almond oil) is poured on top of dried herbs and placed into a warm water bath for at least 8hrs.

Essential oils are a highly concentrated "essence" of a plant, through distillation.

Essential oils:
❌ Waste A LOT of plant material
❌ More likely to cause skin reactions/irritations
❌ Only capture about 1/3 of the plants properties
❌ Need to be used with care for pregnant women, children, pets, and elderly
❌ Some plants don't have oils (like chamomile)

Oil Infusions:
✔ All plant material is used = more sustainable 🌎
✔ All plant properties are drawn out in the infusion = more healing benefits!
✔ Naturally absorbed into the skin and act as a medium to carry herbal constituents deeper into the body
✔ They can safely be used every day in large amounts with significantly less risk of a skin reaction
✔ No overwhelming scent

All my products are made with oil infusions and there are NO essential oils added.

Please note that because I'm not using essential oils in my products, they will not have strong scents.
