"Jedadiah P. Whistlebritches Is All Boy" is about a 7 yr. old who goes to his gramma's farm and looks for adventure! It's designed for 2-10 year olds. For some reason, be it God or chance, this old post popped up on my feed from 6 years ago. (I actually believe God put it in my feed today.) I'm reposting because I know someone needs to see it. If it's you...don't just push it aside. Listen to your heart.

Folks wonder why I end a lot of my posts with "call your mama." I guess I can tell you. In June of 2008 I woke up and got dressed on a Monday morning. I put my cell phone in my pocket and off I went to work. I was fairly busy. I had made a habit of calling my mama during the day every day. That day was, as I said, pretty busy. I put it off. Tuesday came and I was busy again but was determined to call mama before the day ended. Time got past me so I told myself "Tomorrow I have GOT to call mama, no excuses!" Wednesday came and I was preparing to leave for Oklahoma City with a load of prisoners. About 7:30 a.m. I got a call from my brother. Mama had been rushed to the hospital and had coded in the ER. They brought her back to life but she was in ICU. I drove about 16 hours to be by her side. I was too late. I have relived that few days of being "too busy" to call on a constant loop for the past 11 years. If you can still avoid that guilt I hope you will. Anyway...That is why I do it. Have a good Saturday. Oh...and make that call before you start getting "busy" today.

I like it!

I love my "Nifty-50" lens! This is a couple years ago, but I really liked the way using this lens I was able to get the desired blurred background. The day was cold and overcast so the pic came out sort of washed. It gave it a great contrast look! Just thought I would share it again. It's been awhile.

I decided to stop bombarding my friends with my photos on here. ISO a place close to Lone Oak/Greenville area to use for portrait photos. Always need a good backdrop and set up spot! ... THEN y'all know I'll be advertising for people who want to have their portraits done (Families and Individuals)! For a small fee of course. 😁

I am fascinated with this old car and windmill. Today I am experimenting with Black and White effects.
