As of August 17th a Realtor CAN NOT show you a house unless you have signed a buyer agency agreement with them. Agents will have to have a written agreement with a client in order to work with them as a buyer’s agent.
A buyer agency agreement is a contract between you and your realtor saying you will be using them to buy a home and breaking down the roles, duties and responsibilities owed to you by your agent etc.
Unfortunately we don't have a choice. This is a new law we need to follow. This contract can be a week long, a month long or even a year long. You and your Realtor can discuss the expiration date.
Remember your buyer agent is bound to advise and advocate on your behalf during the duration of your agreement. This means the buyer’s agent represents solely you — not the seller — in the transaction.

Started my morning with breakfast from Tia Maria's European Cafe. The toasta mista always reminds me of São Miguel.
Then we took a walk around downtown New Bedford and ended up at Newbedford Whaling Museum. I haven’t been there since elementary school. Learned some new things! Recommend taking a tour through the museum!
