Angela is a strategic marketing and communications professional with expertise in media relations, building client relationships, developing and executing integrated campaigns, and writing content for all stages of the marketing funnel.
Currently, Angela is a Communications Manager for JobsOhio, a uniquely structured, private, economic development corporation. She leads communications strategy and ex*****on for five of the 10 JobsOhio sectors, including Healthcare, Logistics, Food and Agriculture, Energy and Technology, and three of the four Strategic Initiatives, including Sites, Inclusion, and Innovation.
Her experience includes a history of working in marketing and advertising agencies as an account executive at all levels with a broad spectrum of B2B and B2C brands, including McDonald’s, Panera Bread, Bil-Jac Dog Food, Sodexo, and Comfort Keepers. Always up for the task of turning around an agency's least happy client, she was once called a “fixer.”

As the owner of Jokers Comedy Café, Lisa not only modeled her spirit of philanthropy but required that her mostly female staff volunteer in the community, giving them paid time off in order to do so. She was eminent domained out of that property and reinvented herself as a community volunteer.
Lisa’s volunteer spirit is well known in Dayton and she has supported many nonprofit organizations over the years. She created Dayton’s restaurant week while president of the Miami Valley Restaurant Association, threw some awesome Masquerage events for Equitas, and has produced The Show Must Go On for the Rubi Girls. She also runs Dayton937, and curates the largest community calendar.
