A few weeks ago we hosted a team of awesome ladies representing 4 different churches. They helped us host camp Yo Soy and they put on a woman's health clinic in Salamanca. The clinic consisted of wellness checks, hand massages, making bracelets, cupcakes, and wellness goodie bags. We are so thankful for this group of ladies and can't wait for them to come back!

Youth camp this year was a BLAST!
We studied the fruit of the spirit, played human battleship, zip lined, and had some impressive talent in the annual talent show this year. God is so good!

We had so much fun spending the last week at Pleasant Valley Christian Camp. It was an honor being the guest missionaries during family camp. We met so many awesome people and made so many memories. We can't wait to go back in the future!
Here’s a quick glance of Campamento Yo Soy.
Together with 85 teenagers, we learned about the fruit of the spirit and had a great time at camp. Praise God for a great 3 days of camp at our mission center!

Although it was yesterday, we couldn’t let too much time go by without shouting out a huge Birthday blessing to Donny Klein. Not very many people plan a youth camp on their birthday. What a blessing your life is to us and the Dominican people, Donny. God bless you greatly!

Thank you everyone for your prayers yesterday! We remained safe with no damage to the mission center. We were down to one lane driving along the coast this morning, as the government cleaned up debris. We are extremely thankful that the Dominican received minimal damage.

Today we held our annual Bible Bowl competition. It was a close race, and it was obvious every church studied really well. We are so proud of the Salamanca youth group for taking home gold!

🌸¡Feliz día de la Madre! Mother's day church service in Salamanca. We loved being able to give out presents to all the mothers that came to church today. The presents included beautiful handstiched washcloths made from the Westside Christian Church(Springfield, IL) quilting club. 🌸

We had a busy morning full of friends and fellowship.
We visited our friends at Nuevo Renacer in Haina and then caught the end of the service with the congregation at Iglesia Cristiana Los Casabes.
We always love spending time worshipping together
We only need 22 more camp sponsors! Praise God! A huge thank you to everyone that has sponsored a camper, and to all our faithful prayer warriors. We are almost to our goal!

The prison ministry is back up and running!! It has been a difficult process to be able to get Esdras into the prison to continue the work that David was doing, but God made it all work out! Pray for Esdras and the ministry as it continues to grow and after this class graduates pray the ministry can expand to more prisons around the Dominican Republic.

Weekly youth group in Vacacional is something we look forward to all week. It’s amazing watching these young people grow!

Wednesday was a fun day of ministry and fellowship! We dropped off Three Kings Day presents in Los Casabes, and then pastor Ernesto and Felicia came with us to Salamanca for Bible School and Youth group. It was so fun to be able to minister with them and pass out presents to all our kids and youth in Salamanca. After youth group, we all went to the Christmas Lights Park in the captial!

Salamanca Christmas program
We celebrated Christ’s birth with the congregation in Salamanca on Wednesday and wanted to share a glimpse with you!
Between the kids nativity play, the coordinated dance, sharing the gospel, and the prizes/cake, it was a blessing to us to be able to share with our community in Salamanca. We counted approximately 120 people in attendance PRAISE GOD!

Vacacional Block Party!!!
To kickoff youth group in this small town, we hosted a block party and had as much fun as the kids did! We had a great turn out despite the afternoon rain of over 150 people!
