Here we go... knitting the back & the front at the same time.
Using Scheepjes Metropolis Colour Box. To get the stripes to match, I'm working from both ends of each tiny ball of yarn.
Starting off with garter stitch then 'Waffle Stitch'. Let's see how it goes ... no pattern, just designing on the go ... a knit & crochet combo 😃😃

HOW DID YOU DO IT B? I often get asked this question ... In this design, I did a tension swatch for a circle and tension swatch for the knitted back. Next step was to measure me and draw out a diagram on graph paper. I knitted a square piece for the back then joined crochet circles as I worked. For the sleeves,, i worked double crochet around and picked up these stitches and knitted a sleeve. Measuring all the way. ❤️❤️

I'm really enjoying this that I'm designing. Using 3 different variegated yarns and combing knit & crochet. The sleeves and hems will be in crochet square motifs 🤗🤗
