INNER EAR MODEL

Anatomical model of the inner ear consisting of a model of the cochlea and a transparent model of the semicircular canals with otoconia simulation for maneuver training.

Includes a 3D-printed stand that allows for the observation of inner ear structures and easy presentation of the model.

This model can be used as an educational tool for teaching the anatomy of the vestibular system and as a training aid for practicing maneuvers related to balance and inner ear function.

Models of both the left and right inner ear are available.

Lower canine with typical pulp chamber and one mesiodistally flattened root canal. The course of the canal is relatively uncomplicated until its apical delta, where it divides into two equivalent ramifications placed in vestibular and lingual direction. Both of them have apical diameter 0,13 mm.

Pulp chamber and root canal system are without significant calcifications and obliterations. Root canals of the replica are quite narrow and need to be negotiated patiently. All canals have relatively straight, only very slightly bend course. MB1 and MB2 are quite thin at ther apical diameters – both diameters are 0.10mm. Distal canal has 0.11mm apical diameter. Palatal canal is relatively wider in its course and narrows down to 0.15mm apical diameter.

Modeling of gingivoplasty guide for surgical crown lenghtening. The guide is modelled from the final desired teeth shape - waxup. The inside windows are for soft tissue excision, and the 3mm rim around the windows is to see the needed osteoplasty extent after reflecting the mucosal flap.

The soft tissues are in real anatomical position - after inserting the needle it is possible to check the needle position at the dorsal bony portion of our model. The silicone soft tissues are heavy duty and withstand hundreds of needle insertions. Model is compatible with our Biovoxel phantom head (in preparation).

Navigated Impla / Endo guides in dental practice! That's the title of another presentation at , led by Mr. Maroš Čižmár from BioVoxel technologies

We would like to share little innovation we have developed together with our doctors. Pre-made custom SSA (sealing socket abutment). This custom SSA can be made before the surgery itself. We know the exact 3D position of the future implant (thanks to implant planning and surgical guide) and the shape of the post extraction socket thanks to virtual extraction. Doctors ordering the guides from us get a thorough implant planning report and SSA shape visualisation. Once they confirm the planning and modelation, it is "go time" for our printers :). We use RealGuide for treatment planning and guide modelation, Autodesk Meshmixer for additional adjustments and SSA modelation and Phrozen Sonic XL 4K 2022 Dental 3D Printer with Keyprint KeyGuide material to print the guides.

The beauty of resin 3D printing. You can see the layer being printed on our splint for orthognathic surgery. The splint is being printed for maxillofacial department in Banská Bystrica, Slovakia. Unlike surgical implant guides, which we usually print horizontally, we like to print splints like these vertically - less supports to clean, better fit (it needs to sit on both arches, from both sides). Downside is the print time - 4:30 hours in this case.

BIG NEWS! We are adding a new service - product. Treatment planning and subsequent production of all kinds of surgical guides - implant guides, endodontic guides, autotransplant templates, TAD guides, apical resection guides and many more non standard types of guides. For those interested, please write an email to [email protected] . They will soon be avalaible to order through site. In the photos, you can see the post-curing process in the Phrozen v2 cure oven. We use KeyPrint KeyGuide resin for the guides.

Last weekend our doctors (Dr. Maroš Čižmár and Dr. Pakhomov ) held a presentation about in-office surgical guides for dentists at Slovak young dentists congress. Guide planning and fabrication for dental offices will be a service we will begin to offer shortly. We will offer implant guides (from standard to complex, stackable guide cases), apical resection guides, endodontic guides, autotransplant templates and many more, non-standard guides. It will be possible to order those at new version of our www.biovoxel.tech site. The new site is currently under development. Looking forward to that! :)
