A Look Ahead!

At 6:39 pm on November 5th the 2023 WPYFL season came to an end at Greensburg's Offett Field. The 10th Anniversary season was a huge success with 3440 football players and 2718 cheerleaders participating for 44 different organizations.
We would like to thank all the volunteer coaches, team moms and all the parents who work behind the scenes to make this all possible.
See everyone in 2024. Heat Acclimation Week begins on July 29, 2023-only 266 days away!!

Today, our 6th graders will partake in the Senior Bowl! These individuals who have worked so hard will play in their last youth game! In this moment, we bid a sweet farewell to this great group of young athletes, who have represented our Greater Latrobe Youth Football program over the years!

We won’t say goodbye, we say Good Luck in your transition to the next chapter of your football careers. The Senior Bowl marks the end of one chapter, but it also signifies new beginnings and exciting opportunities as they head to Junior High next year.

To all the young athletes participating in todays’ games, remember to approach the game with grit and determination. Cherish these final moments on the field, play your hearts out and make lasting memories. You make our organization proud!

The GLYFP would like to wish every participant in the 6th grade Senior Bowls good luck and most importantly, have fun!! We look forward to following your success for years to come!

And let’s not forget our 6th grade coaches either! Thank you for your time, talent and patience in teaching the love of the game of Football to these young players!
