I have been teaching movement for nearly ten years in Sydney, Australia and Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. I lead group classes, corporate wellness events and also work privately with a small group of clients.

• Planning this shoot with the wonderful - I wanted to create pictures that stood apart from the eternal sunshine of most yoga and pilates shoots, give a nod to another wonderful friend and photographer .photo and celebrate my body as a vehicle for self expression, separate to the part of me that is constantly claimed and climbed on by small children.

So many of my clients are women and mothers. I know how hard it can be to catch time away from busy jobs and families to come to class. But they walk lighter afterwards and so do I.

Kitzbuhel 2024. The blue run that wasn’t.

Don’t let the golden light fool you. Uma had a fever and puked her way through the night. We made it out of the tent each time, thank the desert gods. She stopped to supervise the cooking and consumption of 11 marshmallows over the breakfast campfire. Then resumed.

First camping weekend of the season. Last time we came to this spot Henry had just started walking. He fell over everything and went home covered with scrapes and bruises but bloody loved it. This year he made me piggyback him up the mountain but marched back down.
