Joining Beautycounter has been a pretty amazing experience. I am truly shocked everyday by the fact that many of the day-to-day products we use are simply not safe. As many of you know recently joined a start-up brand that is all about bringing awareness to our unregulated personal care product industry.
The United States has only banned 11 ingredients vs. the European Union, which has banned 1300. Beautycounter has banned over 1500. They've done the homework for us to keep us safe from the 80,000 chemicals used in our products (90% of which have never been tested for safety data).
This is something I normally would never do, but I personally love the products b/c they work and the fact that they are safe is a bonus!

I know so many of you have wondered why I have started this crazy venture with Beautycounter... its seems an unlikely choice given my real estate focused career. But, I have truly been inspired by the fundamental mission of this company to focus on bring safe AND effective personal care products into our homes.
