Jon’s practice is customized to accommodate his client’s individual goals and body type and incorporates a blend of disciplines that are found in Russian strength training, martial arts, biomechanics, physical therapy and holistic modalities. (See more credentials below). Jon worked at the exclusive Sports Club LA for two years before starting his own private practice. For the past eight years he has teamed up with Doctorate of Physical Therapy, Allen Letgolts, Chiropractor and Sports Rehabilitation Specialists, Dr. Jeffery Tucker, Chronic Pain Specialist, Laura Sadler, ADI Physical Therapist, Sean Hampton, Body Reform Integrated Physical Therapy, the Gray Institute and biomechanics expert, Dr. Robert Irvin as well as radiologist, Dr. Doug Brown. In 2010, Jon partnered with Duke University tennis coaches to open Court Strength, an integrated fitness and tennis facility in Santa Monica, California, which trains professional, collegiate and junior tennis players. In 2015 he sold Court Strength. In 2011, Jon was asked by Nike and Microsoft to be one of the lead motion capture trainers for their Nike+Kinect Training game for the Xbox 360 platform. In 2012, Jon teamed up with The Teeter Corporation and was one of the trainers for the Thunderbell fitness program, performing the hardest routines designed by top military trainer, Jeremy Levine, who trains the Navy SEALs, Army Special Forces and Air Force Special Forces. In 2014, Jon launched Combat Science, an integrated self-defense and fitness online training website. Jon also trains in Freedman’s Method Ketsugo Jujutsu, Jeet Kune Do, Bruce Lee’s martial art, and holds qualifications and certifications from Defensive Hand-gun, Tactical Carbine and Sniper/ Counter-Sniper schools, the American Alpine Institute, American Red Cross, and the Skip Barber Racing School.
