Dandelion and Bay Leaf tea.
Aides in liver function. Helps with stomach issues. Excellent source of Vitamins A, C, iron, potassium, calcium, and magnesium. Can relive sinus pressure. Boosts metabolism. It’s a diuretic, so if you’re holding excess water, this will help. Anti inflammatory.
Steep for 10-15 minutes. It has an earthy flavor, so a little raw honey is an excellent sweetener.
Mother Nature heals. Food is medicine.
Part of my revival and recovery has recently included the ancient practice of Cupping. If you aren’t familiar, I highly suggest googling it. In the most basic of explanations, it helps with blood flow and circulation to help with inflammation and detoxification of your body. Without the use of medications or toxins.
For those unfamiliar, I took a spill and severely injured my MCL back in December. If you have ever experienced, it’s a loooonnngggg rehab and recovery and can be very painful. I started cupping the area to see if/how this may help me. Surprisingly, it has helped me to regain a higher range of motion and allowed me more mobility. Hopefully 🤞🏽 this upward positive trend continues! Between weight loss, yoga, and lifestyle changes, I’ll be back in no time! 😘
Rhea Bullos, an 11-year-old track athlete from the Philippines, went viral after competing in a local inter-school running meet. Bullos won three gold medals in the 400-meter, 800-meter, and 1,500-meter competitions.
The girl went viral not only because she won but because she didn't have running shoes and decided to use bandages as shoes.
I always say and I will reiterate that at any point in your life, Know that you have everything you need to succeed. The girl did not focus at what those who had shoes had, she focussed of using what she had and has further opened many other opportunities. Many of us wouldn't have participated for fear of what other runners or spectators were going to say about us and would have missed an opportunity that would have improved our lives and eventually bring other opportunities.
How many opportunities have passed you because you are not using what you have? Stop focusing on how other people started and start using what you have. Always remember You are enough.

Today I’m working on my gratitude vision board! Instead of the “normal” things we are working toward- mine will showcase the things in my life I am grateful for that I already have or have accomplished! Don’t dull your own shine. Celebrate YOU as you are!
“Give to others and give to yourself the same attention”
I cannot stress enough the importance of this. So often we give so much of ourselves to others whether it is for validation, empathy, compassion, love, care, or concern that we don’t take the time to give ourselves the same.
Today was rewarding, special, and tough all at the same time. My mom amd myself shared a “refresher” CPR “training” with a very special organization. We touched on the basics and spoke of difficult scenarios and situations. I felt honored to have been asked to participate and grateful that this group of folks asked for this refresher, simply because you never know when you may need it. In my mind I know that it takes a special kind of person to WANT to know how to save a life.
After the presentation, my brother, my mom, and I shared a meal. It allowed me to sit and admire the family I have and how truly amazing they are. I cherish these times with them.
As I sit and reflect on it all, I’m enjoying a cup of hot tea with my partner by my side under the roof of our love filled home. Taking in the events of the day and the blessings of abundance I call mine. I try to turkey live each day as if it is my last. I feel good knowing that if I don’t wake up tomorrow, that this is how I spent my last day and that my last memory was impactful.

Sometimes when we transition in lifestyle change, we have remnants of our old lifestyle that we can’t afford to throw away. I was going through the freezer when I came across some Italian sausage I was saving for something at some point. It’s not really within the guidelines of my everyday diet, but it’s not practical to throw away food.
This was the delicious result! Spaghetti Squash with a from scratch “sauce”. SO good!
Sweet Italian sausage
Diced tomato
Fresh spinach
Onion powder
Hot pepper flakes
My apologies for the temporary absence as I take time to celebrate my father, who took his seat at the big table one year ago today.

Cabbage and noodles.
One of my favorite comfort foods is cabbage and noodles. It’s quick. It’s easy. It’s super versatile. And it’s inexpensive if you’re on a budget. ALL. OF. THE. THINGS.
Today, was a little bit different. For those just joining us, I recently completed a full body detox cleanse and have been making the conscious decision to only eat clean, gluten free, dairy free (when possible), Whole Foods. Plant based. Making everything from clean organic ingredients. (It’s not as hard as you think, actually…) Today was cabbage and noodles. I made the noodles from scratch. 4 ingredients. Hand kneaded, rolled out, and meticulously cut. The eggs came from grass fed free range chickens. Pink Himalayan sea salt. High quality extra virgin olive oil. Organic flour.
Organic locally grown cabbage.
Home grown herbs and spices.
The process took a couple of hours, but every moment made it worth it.
Not only did it taste better, I literally know every ingredient that went into making it (and where it came from!). It’s better for me and my family. It taste even better than it did before. Any you know what? It’s actually cheaper to make than made using processed junk. I feel like a freaking rock star! I have more energy. I don’t need caffeine to function. I don’t actually need it at all. No refined sugars. Homemade everything. Making small swaps here and there is a great start to a whole new life. Follow me for more!
Building a relationship with the food that nourishes your physical body and soul is SO important to reviving your empowerment. making your food from scratch allows you to know each and every ingredient you’re eating or feeding your family. Each process. Each step. Every bite.
Sometimes it takes longer. Sometimes it’s not convenient. But every time it’s worth it.
I’m grateful for this life and all of the opportunities it presents me.

My Story
If you’ve ever used any Tupperware product, its pretty easy to know why I chose to join this business. I was reluctant and hesitant to become part of the team. A lot of different thoughts strolled through my mind, but decided, “hey... what do I have to lose? There is no commitments or quotas, worst case scenario, I just spent $99 and bought myself some really nice kitchen stuff.”
Oh man, was I in for a surprise! I got my kit, started using it, and found that not only do I LOVE the products, so does everyone I’ve showed them to! The Tupper community is amazing and supportive AND Tupperware supports ME! I started working super part time, just a few hours a week. I worked 2 regular day jobs also. Its been a year and because of this ‘little side hustle”, I was able to pay off some bills, have that extra cash in the savings, and am currently working funding my son’s trip to Washington DC.
I guess my point in all of this is, its really not just storage bowls. Tupperware has changed my life. The products are convenient and easy and cut my time in the kitchen down a ton, leaving more time to spend with my family. Its all Eco friendly, which is a pretty huge deal for me. The friends I’ve made during this journey are amazing and the extra income has allowed me to do so many things! And geeze, IT’S FUN! It is SO much fun! I’m still in awe of all the cool stuff they keep coming out with. I mean, now I can make my own cold brew coffee at home! If you’re on the fence or hesitant about joining my team or any of the products, TALK TO MEEEEE! I am here to answer questions and to tell you my story. It is 110% worth it.
