Tsumami zaiku and kanzashi. Traditional Japanese craft modernised for ease of wear.
Balancing traditional Japanese crafts with ladies' fashion to birth an entire range of accessories, jewellery and decor.
Life may get in the way of crafting, but never extinguish passion for it.
some green to soothe the eyes… and ooh, look, a kanzashi!
Ahh… some green to soothe the eyes… and ooh, look, a kanzashi!
Cotton candy pink and lady
My kanzashi looks fiiiiine.
My hair-styling skills on the other hand… needs work.
Me, faceful of make-up, and kanzashi on leisurely afternoon of photoshoot turned out to be more about vanity, rather than productivity.
At Gardens by the Bay, Singapore.
Road, in case I forget to turn up there myself… hehehe…
moment, everyday.
Rather than a push for sales, my three days with .sg had been more of a… careful exploration inwards.
Fruitful. Insightful. Frightful.
Fruitful, in that I still did manage to garner monetary reward.
Insightful, in that I had learnt more and seen more, to myself and the art that has accepted me.
Frightful, in that there is so, so much more out there, I fear I may never come close to experiencing it all.
Doesn’t mean that I give up though ✌️
21-23/6 with .sg had been nothing short of magic.
Till now, the magic continues in the form of order fulfilment and warm support!
I’m setting up my Etsy shop today hoy hoy hoy~!

Haha joke! I’m actually still reeling from the past three days of magic and artistry with .sg and quite unable to get my thoughts in order.
Until then, here is a photo brimming full of kanzashi and colour to distract!
a great day today~~~
I’m setting up my Etsy shop today hoy hoy hoy~!
Tomorrow, 21/6, at .sg 730 North Bridge Road, in case I forget to turn up there myself… hehehe…

Pop by and say hi!
No, I did not specially buy myself a bouquet, then let it dry just so that I could use it as photoshoot prop.
Yes, I absolutely love all these different colours crammed together within one frame!
LOVE. THIS. COLOUR. AND. DESIGN. COMBI.
This is the first kanzashi on which I’ve housed every single shade of pink I have on my colour palette.
All six of them.
The result seems pretty rosy.
Emerging from the crafting fever is this pretty lovely lover girl here~
A full rose in a royally romantic shade of amethyst purple, accented by teal and gold flowers and deep leafy green.
Every moment, everyday.
New peeps on the block! From left to right, sepia gold, taupe, vanilla beige, and haze purple. Expect to see them in new kanzashi arrangements soon!
With the return of a dearly missed member of the Tezukuri tool family, comes the crafting anew!
In between resting my wrist and waiting for new equipment, I turn my focus to photography.
This makes the NINTH shade of purple I have on my colour palette, haze.
First of the new additions to the Tezukuriya colour palette!
New additions to a (bursting already) colour palette coming soon!
Colour. Love. Summer!!
Neptune and Venus
Pruning the garden. Weeding out the cat hair. Hee.
Everyday, I count my blessings by remembering this.
Pink is sweet when not saccharine.
Same colour. Different hues. A world of emotions.
I rarely make kanzashi of a uniform colour but when I do, it is gold.
