John Taglieri

What a nice way to end the year!! Found out last night that the song I wrote with Jeff Rosen, ' Part Time Love', ended up as the #2 Most Requested Song Of The Year on The New Visions Radio Network 2023 Top15!! What a great honor. The station gets about a million listeners per month. The song spent 4 weeks in the #1 slot on their weekly Top 10, and was in the chart for 16 weeks.

I had an amazing crew of musicians on that song including Jeff( Guitars, Vocals), Steve Cook (Bass), Lee Turner (Piano, Hammond B3, Synths), Brian Fechino (Slide Guitar), Kenny Aronoff (Drums), Brianna Grace (Backing Vocals) and my daughter Harmony Grace Taglieri(Backing Vocals). It was recorded at Cherrywood Records with Jeff at the helm and mastered by multi-time Grammy winner Brian Lucey. They all helped paint an amazing picture and the song took on an absolutely wonderful life.

And huge thanks to Ray Powers and the crew at New Visions for always being so supportive and giving my songs a home to heard for an audience that appreciates it.

Thanks to all of you who requested that song and helped spread the word on it. Between that and my other song this summer, 'Talk To Me', it was absolutely wonderful to be creative again.

Prior to releasing my two singles on June 30th, I had 394 plays on Spotify for 2023. I Hadn't been promoting anything .Since then in the last 5 months, I've gotten almost 80,000 plays from nearly 10,000 listeners. It's amazingly flattering to have such a great year this deep in my career. Thank you to all who gave the two new songs SO much love and all of the rest of the songs in my catalog which picked up a lot of plays along the way. You guys are awesome.

So...I went and did a thing today. 🙂 I have been a Jeep fan since I was little. I've owned a '78 CJ7, and '86 XJ two-door Sport and a '97 2-door TJ. Unfortunately they don't make a good touring vehicles so eventually I got rid of mine for tour vans and RVs to go around the country with.

Ever since coming off the road I kind of had an itch to get one. I looked at a ton of them online and went to a dealer today to look at an old TJ because I really do love that. One. Price was great and the pictures were wonderful but once Laureen and I got there. We found a lot of little things that would have added up to a bunch of work. Sitting right next to it though was this 2010 beauty. Jeep Wrangler Sport, Fully loaded, 3.8 l. V6, 6-speed manual trans, and everything you could want. We took it for a test drive and it was instant. It just drives so nicely. The dealer made me an amazing deal on it and we drove it off a lot.

I'm so excited to be back into a Jeep. I do love my Cadillac, but have always truly loved Jeeps. :-)

I already got my first waves on the way back home. I guess now I have to buy a bunch of ducks. LoL.

- 'Just A Little Time' (co-written with Lisa Coppola) is back at #1 on the Southern Country Radio All Request Countdown this week!! That song just keeps chugging along and has been in their top 20 for months now.
