The GOYA (Get off your Ass) Gang was formed in 2007. It is a community adventure club based in the North Clare - South Galway area.
To actively encourage people in the local community to experience and engage in adventure opportunities in their area. To provide adventure experiences in a fun and sociable manner.

Hi Everyone,
Just to let you know that we are working hard to get things up and running again. There's a good bit of fundamentals that need to be put in place before we can restart. We have great support from Canoeing Ireland and Mountaineering Ireland so we hope it's not too long before we can offer some outdoor adventures. So.... as we know GOYA stands for: Get Off Your Ass. Mmmmmm, so when the restrictions lift and we can spend time together.. what will you do to Get Off Your Ass? What will you be doing to get rid of that nice cosy Covid covering that many of us have acquired during this time (i.e extra pounds!)? Hill Walking? Climbing? Kayaking? Canoe Polo? Spring is here, and with it brings new opportunities to get outdoors. We are inviting you to our AGM on March 19th @ 7pm. We would love to see you there. We are also seeking new active members who can be part of the club and be part of the team. Do you paddle/hike/climb/boulder/canoe-polo? If so, please get in touch.
