I started this passion project for many reasons and these are my main driving forces, my muses, my inspiration to keep going on those frustrating days, to show my boys what perseverance and faith is, to demonstrate that following your dreams isn’t a privilege but a birth right 🤍

✨ For my own personal health and the health of my family. To educate others on how they can improve their health too and live a blissful, happy and abundant life!

Hydrate your skin 💦

Do you put Body oil, moisturiser or Facial oils on dry skin?
If you answered yes then you need to keep reading!

When you apply these skin loving ingredients to dry skin you may feel like you are hydrating but in fact you are drawing whatever water content you do have in your skin out so that the serum or oil can utilise it as a hydration source, so how do we stop drawing it out and instead add more hydration? By adding a form of moisture first! This is especially important if you are using any product with Hyaluronic Serum in it as it requires moisture to work effectively!

You can do this by adding
💧 simple H2O (filtered if possible)
💧 Body or Facial mists/toners
💧 Applying your serums and oils/moisturisers straight out of the shower while you are still damp

It’s that simple! Don’t give yourself a good dry after the shower, just lightly pat your skin to remove excess water and apply your products straight away ✨

Oh and also…don’t forget to drink enough water to keep you hydrated from inside giving your skin and body life! Sufficient water intake is essential for collagen production, wound healing, skin elasticity, skin hydration (der) and that dewy glowing skin we all want ☺️

While we’re on the topic of hydration, make sure you are upping your water intake if you
🍃 Smoke (yes va**ng counts)
🍃 Consume caffeinated drinks or alcohol
🍃 Are eating more processed foods
🍃 Are sweating more than usual
🍃 Take certain types of medication

All the things above dehydrate your body so you need to add more into your daily intake to counteract that dehydration!!

Things that you can incorporate for more hydration 💧
🌻 More fruit and veg (these are made up of mainly water)
🌻 Herbal Teas (I love making ice teas or tea cubes for summer to make yummy flavoured water)
🌻 Drinking 2-3L of water a day minimum!
🌻 Drinking 500mL-1L of warm lemon water first thing in the morning on an empty stomach 🍋

Trust me your skin will thank you for it 🫶🏽

A few fun facts about me, the creator behind SOLFUL COLLECTIVE 🌞

✨ I adore sunflowers 🌻 almost a strange obsession, to the point where my fiancé got me a custom made engagement ring to look like a sunflower! (Yes, he’s a bloody gem and the ultimate catch 🥰)

✨ I’m an extroverted, introvert so I’m a work or social setting I may seem like a little social 🦋 but I actually crave alone time and would happily live on a deserted island.

✨ I was recently diagnosed with ADHD and it was a blessing! I felt quite literally stupid my entire life as I was not able to study like neurotypicals and thought I had killed too many brain cells during my teenage party years but hey it just turned out to be a neurological disorder! I have learnt to mask it very well over the last 29 years but having a diagnosis and knowing why I am the way I am and why I do certain things has brought me so much inner peace that I now look at it as a kind of super power (except for when I’m having a rough day 😅)

✨ I have 3 boys (yes I’m a busy mama) and 2 fur babies (both girls to balance out that masculine energy! 🤣)

✨ I love all music but particularly Aussie Rap…yep random I know.

✨ I’ve been described as a fairy because of smile and energy 🧚‍♀️

✨ I am also a trained yoga teacher, boxing instructor, personal trainer and nutritionist (hello ADHD) 😅
