Locally owned by woodworker & designer Anela deLaveaga, the woodcraft studio was founded in 2018 out of the Sierra Nevada Foothills, and now operates out of Reno, Nevada. Specializing in high-end custom furniture, lighting design, and kitchenware, all products are designed and handmade in-house, with all wood and materials locally sourced.

This weekend has me reeling, humbled, exhilarated, grateful, and so inspired by all the Reno Tahoe Truckee artists that showed their love for their work at the inaugural Reno Tahoe Art Show this past weekend. Not only was I floored by the excellent, playful mastery and quality of the work exhibited by our neighbors, but I was absolutely astounded at the reception of the work of the Design Build Collective. Members .on.keys executed in such a confident elegant and brave way.

Two beautiful jobs done, one madrone epoxy dining set and one madrone floating bartop to emphasize a lake view for a lovely family in . The clients came in to help with the epoxy pour to get their perfect marbling. We used for the accenting, and the madrone was salvaged from North San Juan in the Sierra Foothills. The legs were done by
