Teylu will be opening the event. Teylu is Cornish meaning family, they are a four voice acappella singing group bringing beautiful harmony songs. I can’t wait to hear them again.

There’ll be mulled wine and mince pies and a lovely St Just welcoming atmosphere.

Community Christmas Concert at the St Just Miners Chapel | Wednesday 13th December | 6:30pm doors open, 7pm start.

Join us for our annual Community Christmas Concert featuring performances from students at Cape Cornwall School, the St Just Primary School Choir and Pendeen Brass Band.

After a brief hiatus, the Botallack Folk Club returns on December 22nd for a Christmas party! 🎄 🍾 🥳

As a thank you to all those who've come along to make the Folk Club happen again here at the Botallack Count House, we're going to have a little party to celebrate.

Come along to eat some pasties, sausage rolls and mince pies 🙂

All free of charge, we hope to see old and new faces alike for a pre christmas folk session 😊

The Folk Club will continue to run monthly & we hope to bring you some exciting guests and more in the New Year!!

Movement for Good - Nominate a charity Nominate a charity for a Movement for Good award now.

We will be hosting a Dickens at Christmas Friday 8th of December after the turning on of the St Just Christmas Lights - entrance is FREE but we would appreciate a donation as this is a part of our fundraising efforts for the renovation of our beautiful Lafrowda Club.

Inspired by Dickens visited Cornwall in 1842 after stating he wanted to see "the very dreariest and most desolate portion" of the Cornish coast.
On October 27, 1842, Dickens embarked on his Cornish adventure with two artists and his biographer, arriving in Exeter by train and then likely crossing the Tamar via steam-powered ferry to reach Cornwall. During the trip, they visited St Michael’s Mount, Tintagel, St Nectan’s Glen, the Logan stone at Treen, St Just and, it is believed, Land's End and the mine at Botallack.
They toured the county in an open top carriage full of booze. It is believed they stayed at the Wellington Hotel in St Just

Hey Everyone,
Our Event at St Just Town Hall is coming up soon - Saturday 14th October to be precise.

It will be as you've never seen us before! We'll be playing as a five piece band for the very first time featuring a Keyboard player and a Sax/Guitarist.

Playing new song’s from our upcoming album, along with some upbeat covers that we love and we know you love. 🎤

Our drummer Bo will also be 'spinning' some tunes before our live set to get you in the mood, and again afterwards to keep the party going.
