Endings and beginnings at tonight's school board meeting: Greg Need was elected board president for 23-24 and I shared the news that I will be moving out of Clarkston by the end of summer and submitting my resignation from the Board effective Aug. 10. My husband took a job out of town 18 months ago and we have been commuting around our schedules. Parents, students, teachers, staff, colleagues and Dr. Ryan - it's been a great privilege to serve and work with you for the last 8-1/2 years.

Enjoyed dressing up for last night's board meeting to celebrate our students who compete at the highest levels in athletics and band. Thank you and marching band booster prez David Murphy for helping with the gear, and to special guest athletic director Jeff Kosin for the great update. I'm ready to cheer on the Lady Wolves tonight! 🏐

Started my day in Kansas City having breakfast with our Busy Bees Destination Imagination team as they wait for the closing ceremony at the global finals. Such an articulate, confident, enthusiastic (and hungry) group of young leaders! There is lots to celebrate in Clarkston this week!
