Wow. Just WOW. A new chapter of my life is here. First off, you all know I live in the moment so please excuse my late response. My 30s were AHMAAAAZING and very much a roller coaster ride. So now, I am soooo excited to see what the 40s have for me. I already know it’s about to be lit!

…this has been a reoccurring theme in my life the last few weeks and even the last few years. Acceptance is one of the hardest things we can do as human beings. We are so critical of ourselves and that makes us critical of others. When we learn to accept what is, and let go of what is not true, it welcomes in more self reflection that exposes the inner most things we’ve been negating all along because we refuse to accept those parts of us in love, even if when it’s uncomfortable for us to love them. Acceptance is self love. Acceptance is peaceful. Acceptance is letting go. Acceptance brings compassion… I hope this helps you as much as it’s helped me.
…Going back to the basics. I love this song and I just felt like vibing to it with my amazing husband. I’m an 80s baby all day…the 90s raised me, and the 2000s help me understand what music can do in this world. I’m going back to the foundation and remembering why I started.

Yesterday, on the 21st day, of the 21st year, of the 21st century, I married my best friend. , you have taught me what happens when you lean on God everyday over choosing my own understanding. You taught me that to love deeply is to boldly seek Him in all that I do. Most importantly, you, Love of my life, taught me to shift my focus in seeing the world more through the eyes of love, and less the the lenses of fear.
1 John 4:18 says “There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.”
