On June 27th, we held a virtual handover meeting. We extend our heartfelt thanks to the outgoing committee members and warmly congratulate the newly appointed team. We are looking forward to more exciting events and experiences in the following Rotary Year. Here’s to our club’s continued growth and success!

On June 4th and 5th, our club successfully conducted a fundraising event. Our dedicated members collaborated to sell food and beverages, generating profits that will be used for upcoming activities and charitable donations.

"🐾 Making a pawsitive impact during Rotaract Week! 🐾 Our club raised funds to provide much-needed dog food for the Penang Animal Sanctuary Society (PASS) and spent a rewarding half-day volunteering at their center on 15 March. Huge thanks to everyone who supported this initiative - together, we're making a difference for our furry friends! 🐶💙 "

Calling all pet lovers! Join us in making a difference during Rotaract Week! Show your support for our furry friends by making a donation to the Penang Animal Sanctuary Society (PASS). Every single donation counts towards creating a better life for these deserving pets.

The first friendly tournament for the Sentralympic is Badminton. This tournament is a collaboration between our club and . There are two categories for this game: man double and mix double. The registration fee for this tournament is RM 25 per pax. The registration closes on 18th February (Sunday).

The last tournament in the Sentralympics is Captain Ball. This tournament will be conducted on a group basis, with six members per team. You can register yourself in a group. If you don't have a group, worry not, the organiser will help you form a team. The registration fee for this tournament is RM 6 per person and RM 36 per team. The registration closes on 18th February (Sunday).

Are you ready? The first-ever Sentralympic is coming soon. 😍 The Sentralympic consists of four different friendly sports tournaments including Badminton, Captain Ball, Bowling, and Ping Pong (only Ping Pong will be held on April). The accumulative fees collected will be donated to the Penang Handicapped Welfare Association. Everyone is invited to join us, whether you are a Sentralian or not! Thaipusam is a vibrant Hindu festival celebrated mainly by the Tamil community. It honors Lord Murugan, the Hindu god of war. Devotees often engage in elaborate processions, carrying kavadis (ornate structures) adorned with decorations and pierced onto their bodies as acts of penance.🥰 The festival is marked by lively music, dance, and a sense of community spirit, creating a joyous and celebratory atmosphere.✨

To start off a new year, the Rotaract Club of Penang Central College has successfully organised a fellowship activity to welcome all club members, including our advisors, board of directors, and old and new members, to join our “Fellowship Forge Crafting Connections." 🥰

The Rotaract Club of SENTRAL College Penang and the Rotaract Club of Tanjung Bungah have successfully organised a stress management workshop called "Discover Tranquility: How to Manage Stress Better?" on the 4th of November. The speaker, Nagshaathiree, a corporate well-being specialist, shared that "stress is inevitable, even deciding whether to attend a party could also bring a certain level of stress if you are unwilling to attend that party." During the workshop, she shared many practical yet simple strategies for coping with stress generally. Additionally, she highlighted the importance of deep breathing, of which many of us are unaware, and how it can help us relax.
