It's hard to see the Violet for the trees . . .

"Ow, the sun is really bright today!"

Dash tests out a cat bed, and decides that the desire for comfort is universal.

"A little higher, please, and over a little more." Discriminating doggies are very particular about their tummy rubs!

August, 2011: Nine-month old Dash & Violet look like they're begging . . . for a haircut! The loveseat is still their favorite piece of furniture.

"Birthdays are so much fun with all that wrapping paper to rip up, but I wanted to chew on that gold shiny bow, too, and now I can't find it."

Many of you know that our little boy Dashy has cancer and only a few weeks left with us. He’s a trooper and still eating, drinking, wagging his tail, greeting us at the door, and interested in everything going on around him, especially if Mommy is in the kitchen! We appreciate your thoughts and prayers as we cherish every moment we have with him. ❤️

Mom had an old phone that didn’t take very good pictures back then, but it’s still a sweet picture of two beloved kitties.

It's Caturday again and since this page is Dash and Violet AND Friends, we include other beloved furbabies past and present in our photos. Here's one of Rusty and Pandy when we first brought Pandy home in 2004.

As a matter of fact, I do enjoy tearing up gift wrap. But sometimes it gets stuck in my teef.

I'm a multi-tasker! I can perch on a sofa arm and hold a toy in my mouth, while looking adorable, all at the same time!

Dash realizes that his doggy psychic skills need practice in order to convince Violet to share the chew bone.

Always keeping an eye on Mom, even when I’m having a snoozy chin rest!

"Hmmm, I thought I heard a chirping around here. Where did that bird go?"

Time for a Caturday post, a bit of yesteryear…

Pandy finds that talking about sharing is a lot easier than actually doing it.

"I'm still waiting for that treat you promised to give me after my bath, Mom."
