OWN IT SCRATCH ROCK RECORDS is a record label based in London, England.

Founded by DYDY HAYNES and MINKY TRES-VAIN in 2012, the label was called SCHLIMBUM RECORDS before being rebranded as SCRATCH ROCK RECORDS in 2019. With releases by BRAIN APE, CHANTY TRES-VAIN, and THE ORANGUTANZ to name a few, the company labels all releases as “SCRATCH ROCK”, freeing up our artists to create music unconfined by genre-boundaries.

Jacob Powell first worked with BRAIN APE back in 2016, joining the band for the 'auslander' recording sessions. jacob and the band quickly bonded, and in 2022 joined forces once more on the band's latest release: 'mcmi. fenchurch king'. now he and BRAIN APE are getting ready to release their latest work together on the 19th of july. get ready for 'mcmx. drawing room' 👾
