Our Story
Where do I begin? I started facilitating art auctions quite by accident. I facilitated my first one for a loved one who needed some breathing room after a traumatic event. From there I witnessed and experienced a beautiful celebration of art, a coming together of a community of lovers of art and artists.
I was completely smitten by the experience and knew I just had to do it again. Now I run for profit auctions in which artists and lovers of art can come together all in one place and bid on artwork. The auction style is just one way for artists to sell their work. It’s quite fun and despite the competitive nature of an auction, we still maintain a warm and loving atmosphere during our events.
I love creating experiences in which we can come together as a community in celebration of art and artists. You won’t find yard sale prices. We don’t allow haggling and we aim to get as much as we can for each artist’s work because we all value the work put into each piece. We don’t believe in the myth of “starving artist”.
I currently facilitate my art auctions on Facebook through event pages. At some point I plan on creating a dedicated site just for my auctions. Stay Tuned!
