The Market that was postponed - here's a photo of my spot which was up for about 30mins before it was decided in the interests of safety for all to postpone it - the wind on Sunday just caused havoc all over Durban.

I guess it does however mean I can make a few more items for the table before the next one - on the 1st of September 2024 - First Day of Spring.

I've been triple checking the weather for tomorrow and it is going to be a hot partly cloudy day with ZERO rain, please pull in to the Westville Flea Market at WGHS TOMORROW

At the WGHS Indoor Flea Market today, it's rainy outside but we're fabulous and dry inside the auditorium. All you need to do it carry a brolly for the walk from the car into the doors.

Here are the details of the Christmas Craft Fair - see you there!! One more sleep... Come on down to Northwood Crusaders Sports Club for a day full of fun rides for the children, over 130 different stalls for Christmas shopping, yummy food and a visit from Santa at 12:30. We will also have SANBS there, so come donate much-needed blood especially now for the holiday season. As Annie’s Busy Beez is turning 20 in January, we want to collect 200 pints of blood. Let’s support this drive. Hope to see some old school friends there tomorrow. Let's have a G&T!

Look what Woolworths did!!! Look!!!

Disappointed they didn't call it the Good Things tree to honour all the Good Things readers who made the original post go viral but happy they listened to the suggestion.

When I told SPAR about this idea, they immediately rolled it out into 60 stores around the country. Seems Woolies have decided to finally join the revolution... after MONTHS trying to tell us to "remember our bags".

This bag tree, my friends, is such a GOOD thing!

Pebbly, peacock picot edge scarf - Aug2022 Just finished this absolutely gorgeous scarf. I loved the colour blend from this yarn but just couldn't decide for ages on what to make with it, I think the long gentle blend of colours on a nice textured, warm scarf that can be worn by anyone was the right decision.

I am so impressed with The Courier Guy's Services I sent an order off from their Warehouse Office in Westmead Pinetown through to a Customer in Grahamstown (Makhanda) Eastern Cape via road freight. Wednesday I dropped it off at their office, it was delivered today (Friday) this morning and cost me just R120! I am ready to accept orders for out-of-town for courier yeah!

Had made this as a gift for a great friend's daughter's Hen's Party (wow so many apostrophes I wasn't sure which to make possessive eventually).

The last market went well! Very happy the Photographer - Invited Paparazzi, was "on the scene" and took such lovely photos. Here are some I have permission to post.
