What exercise is the best exercise for your brain's health?
If I was pressed to pick only one thing I'm happy about @drsarahmckay infusing in us during her Brain Coach Bootcamp (there isn't just one thing - there's heaps of great learnings!), it's that MOVEMENT is the best exercise for brain health.
Using your body bolsters your brain health markedly and more reliably than any other intervention you could introduce.
Why is that so?
Because our brains have evolved to navigate us through our environment. Ergo, our brains need our body's to move; they only truly thrive with movement.

IT'S HARD. UNTIL IT'S NOT. Compare this video to the previous post in my feed, where I was holding my 'tail' leg up to perform this Dragonfly Squat movement. And when I first started with this move it felt impossible! But now? Well, you can see the difference. But what made the difference? Purposeful practice and a dose of patience. The point is, whatever you're aiming at - whether it's like my clients who want to get out of back pain or overcome stiffness to finally move like a supple ninja - it'll feel hard, until one day it's not. Enjoy the process. Be patient. Practice purposefully. Then success ain't nuttin' but a thang.
