The Travelling Doll House

Finally, after many (so many 😬) administrative hurdles, my Etsy shop is about to open very soon! Moving overseas with young kids is pretty full on, but I underestimated how much work and time restarting my business in another country would be. I’m very excited to be back in business again soon!!

The Travelling Dollhouse is moving to the Netherlands soon! I will be taking a break from the 1st of March for a couple of months. Good news, there’s still three more weeks to order (suitcase) dollhouse stickers 😄!

I found this gorgeous dollhouse in a thrift store, the day after I found out I was having a girl. The last few years it has been sitting in my work room and I let the kids play with it. They were allowed to put all the stickers on that I couldn’t sell. I should have made a photo of that in hindsight, because it looked very ‘special’ ☺️. I decided this week that I should give this dollhouse a proper makeover, as she deserves. First steps, giving it a good clean and a lick of paint done ✅. It’s great to see what a difference a fresh lick of paint can do! Next step will be the flooring and wallpaper with adhesive vinyl and than the dollhouse stickers from . Stay tuned 🏚🏡!!

Who says girls don't like dinosaurs! I've made this suitcase for a girl that loves dinosaurs. I tweaked the colours a bit as she loves pink. It’s the last day of term 3 here in NSW, Australia. What a term it has been! I never thought we would be homeschooling for 12 weeks 😬. I’m glad we have a little break from homeschooling the next two weeks in the Spring holidays 🙌🏻. Today is 🌊! I’m very fortunate to live close to the ocean and it’s a big source of inspiration (such as for the mermaid suitcase dollhouse). But it makes me sad that people still leave their rubbish on the beach. Please put it in the bin or take it home if you don’t see one, it’s a small effort that makes a big difference.
