We wanted to note that with the move to District 20 and the Little League Organization there are a few updates to the registration process. Please visit www.pybsl.org and review the registration links to see these updates/forms. The updates are also posted below:
1. This year the registration will be by birthdays and not grade.
2. With each registration you will need to prove residency as we have boundaries we now have to stay within. (Please see the checklist on the website of those requirements as well as the map of the boundary is posted there)
3. We will need a copy of your player(s) court issued birth certificate.
We are currently working with our website host to see if these documents can be uploaded on with your registration. We will keep you updated on this process. If not, the directions to getting those submitted is also under the registration link.
Thank you all for your understanding and patience as we work through this new process.

Hi Everyone!

Some new news for our organization, if you have not heard, is that PYBSL has now joined the Little League Organization and we are apart of the district 20 region. Also, the registration will now go by your child's birthday and not their grade as it has in the past.
If you have any questions please message us on Facebook or email us at [email protected]
Thank you and we cannot wait to see everyone out on the fields this summer!
PYBSL Board Members
The PYBSL board is reaching out to the parent's/guardian's of players in our program to get feedback on our league. We are asking that only those with children in our program vote and please only one vote per household. Our board is currently having a discussion on if we should remain in the current league, Western Bureau Valley League, or make the switch to District 20.
The Western Bureau Valley League is currently comprised of teams from Annawan, LaMoille, Buda-Sheffield, Wyanet, Walnut. Softball leagues are C League (grades 3-5) and B League (grades 6-9). Baseball leagues are Minor (grades 3-4) and Little League (grades 5-6). There is no travel involved until C League for the girls and Minor League for the boys. The season runs the end of May through the first week of July. There are postseason tournaments in all 4 leagues with each of our teams entered.
For those that are unsure what District 20 is please see more information below:
- Division being played in is determined by age/birthday vs. grade
- Every player must participate for 6 outs and 1 at bat if on the roster.
- At the end of the season there would be a tryout/selection of the top 12 players from all the teams to compete in the All Star Tournament play.
-Season will start during the end of the school year and will overlap with soccer.
-The season will start approximately 1 month sooner.
-Our teams would have the opportunity to play new towns, including Mendota, Spring Valley, LaSalle, Peru, Ottawa, Streator, and Oglesby.
Comments will be turned off for this post but please feel free to private message us with any questions or concerns.
