May, Molly & Me

Hi, I'm Sarah and I love to sew and crochet! Hope you like my creations I hope you like them!

In my little world I have a tiny sewing room and out of that room are born my varied creations on a regular basis! They were overrunning the house, so I decided to share them with others and thus my Made Me site - May, Molly & Me - was also born ready to take on my sewing and crocheting babies.

Stripe Festival Shorts pattern by May, Molly & Me 20/01/2024

Hello lovelies ☺️ It's been a while since I posted on here last - so much has gone on, but that's another tale!

Today I've finally published my Festival Shorts crochet pattern to Ravelry. It joins a couple of other patterns I uploaded waaaaay back in 2019. I loved designing and making these shorts, so fun and colourful.

Hope you're all having a good 2024 thus far. I'm currently job searching as redundancy hit last year unfortunately. I'm also working on stock for a stall in the Vegan Village at the Bedford River Festival in July. Very busy with things!

Enjoy your weekend folks 😘🥰

Come the revolution ❤

Cllr Mohammed Nawaz & Caroline White attended the Winter Craft Fayre at the Kempston East Methodist Church Hall yesterday. Despite the rain the event was well attended.
It was good to talk to Caroline, one of the organisers from Happy Cat Events and stall holders Jemhaus & Sarah from May, Molly & Me .
The event was also supporting Bedford Foodbank to which Cllr Nawaz & Caroline donated to.
We look foward to attending Future events in 2023.

Hi all! Well what a year this has been so far. My darling hubs caught covid at the end of January and was taken into hospital at the start of February with pneumonia and a blood clot. I was so scared, as you can imagine, with all the horror stories flying around. Thankfully he recovered enough to be let home on oxygen and blood thinners, but it has been a worrying time. My health took a nosedive also, although thankfully I didn't catch covid, but we are both recovering now and going for regular walks to rebuild our stamina. I completely lost my crojo, but thank goodness it has returned with a vengeance, and I managed to finish a poncho I'd started, and embark on a new project. I will be listing the poncho for sale on here later today, so keep an eye out! In the meantime, here's a quick sneaky peek at my latest project. Lots of love and distant hugs to you all xx
