HFU is excited to announce the appointment of our new board members for the 2023-2024 academic year:

We are confident that the fresh perspectives and solid expertise provided by these new talents will greatly contribute to HFU´s mission of providing better education experience and nurturing environment for our students. Our students had an exceptional opportunity to visit the renowned pharmaceutical company MSD! They had the chance to meet and interact with some of the key players in the industry, including Anne Høeg (Market Access Director), Sylvi Nguyen (Market Access Manager), Elisabeth Næss (Policy & Communications Associate Director), Anne Høiberg (Brand Manager, Oncology), Kari Haugli (HR Lead), and Umair Aslam (Business Unit Director, Vaccines).

This unique experience allowed our students to gain valuable insights into the world of pharmaceuticals and learn about the various career paths within the industry. It's not every day that you get to see behind the scenes of such a thriving industry! We're grateful for this incredible learning experience, and we'd like to thank everyone at MSD who made our visit possible.

We can't wait for more exciting field trips like this one. Stay tuned for more updates on our adventures, and until then – keep learning!

Today, 45 students had the great joy of visiting Novartis Norge, to hear about the pharmaceutical industry, and especially the biggest pharmaceutical company in the world.

Generous employees gave us valuable insight in Novartis as a company and their research, development and getting medicinal products to the market. Novartis displayed different roles one can attain with a background in health economics and management, and that even if you start your career life, you are expected to develop throughout your career. Last but not least, students gained valuable insight in how you work within market access, not only to see their future career, but also to get some practical input to their theoretical studies.

A big and warm thank you to all the great people at Novartis that took time off to present for the students. Also, a big thanks to all the wonderful students who took some time off from demanding studies to visit Novartis!
